Suggestion: I’d like to see more series to compete in (single and multiplayer) that are homologated or restricted to make the racing as close as possible.
Maybe it’s open class racing where race compounds are banned? Or single make series, stock or otherwise.
I like the open class racing but there’s such a big performance difference between the cars it often results in uncompetitive racing or racing on your own. Not always of course, but enough for me to think there’s a lot of opportunity to use the wide selection of cars to create series that promote great close racing.
At the moment there’s only really three: formula Mazda, forza gt and touring car.
It doesn’t even need to be super powerful cars either. There’s a series in the UK called the 116 trophy which I race in, It is all BMW 116s and the racing is super competitive
You can have a lot of fun in a non-powerful car as long as the racing is close.
Perhaps others have suggestions as well on what might be the best method of creating series that contain close racing?
