I love forza, been playing since its release 11 or so years ago. But im not to thrilled about some of the mechanic’s in forza 7. Now let me say i do like the homologation rules. Dont like the fact that those rules only apply to the player and not the npc’s. Also in single player campaign where there are races that say “open class” “race what you want how you want too”. Only you cant. If i pick a maxed out car and want to finally try it out, you cant because of the homologation rules. Not exactly an open race than is it, cant use what i want now can i? Then there’s the “free play” races. If i make a roon with custom settings, then i expect those settings to be followed. If i put a setting on 650hp or less then i expect to race against opponents within that setting. I shouldn’t be in a 650hp car while the cpu’s are driving 800-1000hp cars. Ive also heard that there is no catch up or rubber banding. If you do one of those single player open races and pick a car from the fast and ferious car pack, like the 2000hp monster and max it out, which puts you in P class. Then how is that the B class and even C class cars driven by the cpu’s can keep up with you and match at or even be faster than you? All im asking is that these things to be looked at and adjusted. Please and thank u.
When I raced against lower class cars in Free Play on Unbeatable I lapped them all. Some of them twice. That said, on higher difficulties it’s been alleged that the AI cheats on HP and grip which is verifiable by checking the telemetry in replay.
