Car Divisions vs Real Life Race Series

A group of us play weekly and replicate certain race events and types. I would love to know if anyone has a real life racing series vs Forza race / car divisions so I can work out what to do to simulate a similar series
e.g. to replicate “DTM” I can set it up to allow Audi, BMW, Merc-AMG saloon cars upto S800.
or VLN around Nurburg Nords - set it to use Forza GT and so on.

This allows the group to then select their car for the evening racing and load tunes as needed per track.

What I don’t know is what other series are there and how do they link back to Forza division and car specs?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

This would be great as a spreadsheet - I would be very interested in this as well. I haven’t taken the time to go through the avail cars vs possible real world car series even for street cars that are modified as much as possible would be nice “alternatives” … If you get any feedback shoot me a message - This would be cool to have handy.

Have you checked out Imsa’s michelin pilot challenge series?

Before, it was called Continental tire sportscar challenge. This may be a good option for you guys as it has cars that are currently in Forza or ones you can get close enough too. For example I tuned up a Merceded AMG GT-S to replace the AMG GT4 to the racing specs of that series and have managed to match the lap times at Sebring to the real life cars. The tune wasn’t 100% in spec, I was 5HP over but weight 25+ pounds heavier than the GT4’s. So I think it evens out. Plus I didn’t have a front areo.

I set up a GT4 style race using the KTM xbow gt4, Maserati MC stradale, one of the 12c mclaren’s and the audi TT hill climb. Its cars from different race series but with some fine options adjustments, it works.
