Classic trans am? Early Prototype? DTM? I want to know what racing league/series everyone likes running. I want to start hosting races and am wanting some feedback about what is raced most often!

Unfortunately the Forza community is nothing compared to what it was when Forza Motorsport 4 was released. This thread would have had several replies already.
Personally, my favorites are Super GT and GT3/Prototype multiclass. I also enjoy spec series, which is why I’m running the Virtual Super Trofeo.
Series that seem to draw the best are gt3/gtlm and touring cars. Other than that everything else has a hard time filling a lobby.
The drivers are out there but sadly they are now the drivers that if they do not finish first they go elsewhere till they find a group they can win in, we get through so many guys joining then never coming back and we have drivers of all speeds, it just seems so many are either hotlappers who cannot race or ppl that only want to win even if they win by miles they would prefer that to a good close race.
as far as car types, as long as its new its ok with me, old cars just bore me,lol
This is so disappointing to hear! I had played Forza 4 and 5 a bit in career mode, and even the horizons extensively, ( I am a huge racing simulator fanatic). But Forza 6 is without a doubt my favorite of the bunch so far. I love the water physics with hydroplaning, and I think with the Leagues, they finally got the multiplayer aspect right. Maybe F4 and F5 already had it, and I had not discovered it. I am glad to hear though that GTLM, GT3 and prototype are big. I guess if its limited, there is no sense in me trying to create another league. Who hosts some good GT3 and GTLM racing? I am dying to start racing with more clean people who are competitive without being douchey.
We at ptg just started a gt3/gtlm league you would only have missed a week, currently has 28? Entrants.
Turn and tora also frequently hAve gt going on also.
V8 supercars also get a decent draw.
I just got into elite and have been playing their gtlm league. Holy cow, it’s taken some getting use to! Had to switch tcs and scm back on to get used to it. I like the better racers in this class. They have a lot more etiquette when it comes to track manners. I might try to get used to the faster pace a bit and race the F6 leagues for a bit before I jump into anything serious, unless you don’t mind a slower racer for a while? it takes a while to get used to a faster pace with a controller.
Before you join any sites make sure you read the series rules as some sites don’t allow you to run assists.
Some make you run in a set view too so be sure you know before you sign up.
All skill levels welcome we have some top of the leader boards guys and some back markers and everything in between. No restrictions on assists or view anymkre. We used to buy was hard to draw entrants.
GT3/GTE/GTLM and Prototype racing interests me the most. I’ve been looking for a place where drivers have a lot more etiquette when it comes to track manners. I usually stick to rivals since I haven’t found anywhere to race yet.
