Midnights At Horizon (Series 19) info

Can add crappy lights and crash bars to a focus but can’t change the pea shooters on a 1200hp skyline, nice visual upgrades pgg’s (and as it is because of the rally inspired expansion why we’re getting this kind of visual upgrade I’ll let this go)

Not great but as far as updates go I can say ITS A VERY BIG STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

Anti lag great

Cars. Meh not my taste but least there new to horizon and not held back from previous game, applauses are due to you

22.8 gb on PC, Weird only started updating via the Xbox app and not windows update.

With an update that size I wonder how big the actual DLC is going to be.

As I read it the DLC content was part of the download but wasn’t supposed to be available until the DLC “update” (trigger) date.

Says at the very bottom of the first post in a picture that there will be another download tomorrow.

“Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure expansion available to DOWNLOAD [emphasis mine] and play”

That download will probably be about 200mb and contain just enough information to unlock the new dlc.

Im in the game and i see no tire profile, no new customization parts or at least on the ford focus rs which was even shown on the live streams. Where the hell is the new content ? No new bodykit on the camaro. I have updated the game im not that stupid. Classic forza

Edit: Its a steam issue we gonna have to wait till tomorrow

To clarify my above… the way I read it is that the DLC is included (at least on Steam it seems) based on people playing the DLC today and a remark that Steam messed up (again ? didn’t that happen with a/the previous DLC or something too ? was it really a “mistake” if so ?)

Looks like it will be another 18.4 GB.

When I started the game after the update, it set a route to the Rally icon on the map (it’s now west of the Baja outpost instead of the NW corner). When you get there and try to enter the event, it shows a trailer and then takes you to a screen asking you to buy the Premium bundle. You can press A for “install”, which takes you to the store page for the Rally expansion and the details say it’s approximately 18.4 GB.

Some players got to try the expantion earlier than intended

Yeah, I saw some people on TrueAchievements were already playing it last week. 3 people have already completed all the achievements. Must be nice.

Yeah, I figured (hoped) those early TrueAchievement numbers were devs and influencers and not some mistake or hackers.

I dont know about that. Could be anyone on the forza team. But today when they rolled the steam update they got the wrong version with the expansion release. So some players through steam(correction) were able to play it. But they quickly realized they had sent the wrong update so they rolled it back. But then by doing that created another issue which prevents some steam players from accessing all the features that were supposed to release today. Its very funny actually.

Not for the players affected by this amateur-hour release protocol used by an AAA game studio.

At least they managed to roll it back. Coudlve been worse

And now with the rollback they can’t play AT ALL until the DLC is out for real.

I can play but i see that some others cant

Is it me or are the flames and pops from the antilag a bit too much? It spits flames the whole time you release the throttle. I thought it would only do that on launch control and occasionally when lifting the throttle.

Curious, is that because you didn’t get to the early (wrong) release in time ? Like getting the corrected update post roll-back ?

I think they said you can turn it off if it bothers you ? Not sure if it’s supposed to be always on if it’s on or not. I’m kind of hoping (once the “new kewl” shine wears off) that turning it off, turns it off for every car I see, not just mine
