Since Christmas 2014 i own the Xbox One and Forza Motorsport 5 and very pleased with it.
I learn every day to become better to disable helping guides more and more.
Lot of Cars i have already (some 50) but one single car is making it more than any other.
It’s the Mercedes SLR 2005!
Even though the Specs are telling it’s not good to handle it’s to handle at best once you have a good Tune.
On every Circuit it’s going to win the races for me even though i read about other cars here and how good they are.
The SLR 2005 makes may day every day. In the 800 to 900 class this car beat all best times i had aleady with other cars.
And i purchased the DLC cars.
I want to trowh in a sword for this car. It is awesome.
Yes, i’am a Newbie and read here many times but nevertheless i want to invite the Newcomer to try this car.
It makes you feel good.
Forget the Mazda, the Risi, the Ruf, the 312, the Lotus F1, the Ultima…the SLR 2005 is grrreat.
i havent driven that car, in fact, i dont have much memory of that car going back to forza 4 or 3 etc.
i might buy it and give it a go
i think you just get used to cars that you have always liked
for the hypercar class i use a 4wd Koeniggegg Agera, not because I like it but because its cheap and it works
for the 800 or so class i had a lot of luck with a twin turbo Gallardo Superleggera… it really crushes even higher class cars like the Huayra… if you’re real brave try a twin turbo RWD Gallardo, it is supremely powerful if you can handle rwd, i try it every so often if you like overtaking cars on corners while power oversteering
the RUFs I dont like too much, Ultima I dont like
the Ford GT I find works well as does pretty much all the modern Ferraris and Lambos
I personally feel, even the stock SLR is a joy to drive and push over the edge.
Once you truly understand how different cars behave - in this case, it has a long nose and the driver sits way back in a rear-wheel driven high HP car… you’ll need to adjust your driving style accordingly, much like real life.
Great car to drive, and that menacing, bassy, supercharged growl is MUSIC to the ears, especially from cockpit cam.
