McLaren 650S - Inaccurate Car Sound

The 2015 McLaren 650S…the second of McLaren’s super series, successor to the 12C…having the same variant of the M838T V8 from the P1 and the 12C, I have been fortunate to have been a passenger in one of them in real life and truth be told, it sounds inaccurate in Forza Motorsport 2023. As far as I can tell in FM it sounds more like the 4.0L M840T V8 which came on the 720S and onwards, nowhere near the M838T Engine note. This McLaren has been in Forza since Forza Horizon 2, if we wanna be Motorsport specific, its been there since Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) and it sounded great in both…too bad it doesn’t sound great in FM

All in all, I really hope this catches the sound devs attention and I’d advice making it sound more like the real life counterpart from the link I gave, or decent enough. Hopefully the rest of the McLarens get a sound update as well.

The more you go back to FM 5 and 6, the more you realise how incredibly accurate and delightful to hear those sounds are. In both games, Mike was involved I believe and I’m confident these cars will ultimately be updated in FM 23. How good those sounds will be remains to be seen as the P1 audio update isn’t that great IMO.
