Wrong sound on the 812 Superfast, it sounds like a Ferrari V8 when it uses a 6.5L F140 V12. Please fix it when you can
Yep reported it too.
Both P1s have the wrong sound too. In fact, almost all McLarens sound lacklustre or inaccurate.

I swear it’s almost like none of these people know anything about the cars they add in the game. A tun of cars just don’t sound right at all.

Its really horrible job they did to the sounds to be honest. I heard both P1s too and they sound more flat plane when they should sound more cross plane…its been 10 years, they had the P1 included wayy back in Forza Motorsport 5 and they never got its sound right all these years later. Its frustrating tbh, I don’t know when will they ever do the sounds justice, last time they did was FM6

I know right!!! You’d expect after all these years of developement for Forza Motorsport that the car sounds would be phenomenal, but they are still worse than FM6?! Even worse that bass and depth is still not there on the car sounds, and the exhaust, intakes don’t even move when you rotate the camera to the sides like it used to. Its unbelievable how less they care about car sounds…they really need to get it together

Thrilled someone else has noticed this as well. It sounds more like a 458 as opposed to a screaming V12.

Why couldn’t you just use like the F12tdf or LaFerrari sound at least? These aren’t correct either, but would sound considerably better than what’s used.

They gave it the proper 812 sound in an earlier update, but as of late it now has a generic modern Ferrari V12 note which sounds the same as the LaF, both FXX-Ks, F12tdf, etc.

I think so, yeah, the sounds have changed for the modern V12 Ferraris. The FXX-K Evo and regular FXX-K sounded distinct to the LaFerrari or 812 for example. Now they all appear to be sharing the same sample.
Could you please have this investigated and ask the developers to restore each car’s unique sound? E.g. 812, LaFerrari, FXX-K, etc.

Edit: Upon experimenting more, all the modern V12 Ferraris are sharing the same note:
599xx Evo, FXX-K, FXX-K Evo, F12 tdf, LaFerrari, 812, etc. all of them are sharing the exact same note!
I’ve also noticed odd shifting behaviour in these cars: between shifts it feels like the driver is throwing in a clutch and shifting through a 6 speed stick. There’s a gap or pause between the shifts, as others have pointed out, but this shouldn’t be the case due to the paddle shifting dual clutch transmission.

Glad that you put the samples from youtube. The thing is T10 are being lazy to do this research on their own, for which we have to put a lot of references to get them the picture.

We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 7 on 04.08.24
