Will do when I get home. I understand that the skewed PI balancing and online play tactics are forcing players to resort to radical conversions and modifications to be competitive, but I’ve decided that I really don’t want much part of it. Had a great run going in an A-class championship with my V8 Miata last night, only to lose the last race because someone in yet another low-grip, AWD loonicorn powerslid off the racing line and put me into a tree.

I really wish that open-world racing didn’t so often translate into a blatant disregard for hard, yet clean competition.

Yep. I have all these other cars but I find myself just logging in and doing Goliath for cash and logging out. Be nice to run some older cars.

I couldn’t even do the sandman run because all the online adventures were s1 or s2. I gave up on it. Got the landscaping achievement though.

If you go to Online Adventure, Custom, No Colisions racing only you eliminate people taking you out.

I know, but it’s a unfulfilling solution for me because I actually want the tactical challenges of overtaking and defending. I’m a working boy, so this is how I fulfill the automotive adventures I wish I was gifted or wealthy enough to undertake. I have many fond memories of earlier Forza titles because of the abundance of players who were skilled within the spirit of the game. Not only do I consider a ‘no collision’ public online adventure something of an affront to that, it might as well be Rivals, albeit with the inconvenience of having to join a session, competing in categories I may not want to, and not being able to make gameplay or tuning adjustments as needed. It irks me just as much as the emphasis on (unrealistic) car builds.

I’m perfectly fine with limiting myself to like-minded players, though. And when I can’t find any, I appreciate cars broadly enough to enjoy the game in solitude.

I was suggesting it for the OP who complained about kids crashing into them.
