Matte vinyl textures appear as gloss textures when in cockpit or hood camera view. For me this is a distraction and makes me feel disoriented, seeing a reflected inverted world at the bottom of my screen. I always cover my cars with a vinyl and switch it to 0 on the glossiness scale but for some reason they appear as gloss textures in cockpit and hood camera which is where I like to have my camera. Pretty sure that a matte texture that appears as matte would impact the GPU less, than a gloss texture, as it does not have to calculate and render a real-time perfect reflection on multiple curved surfaces 60 times a second.
