Looking through the map, it is interesting the places they chose like Maroondah Reservoir. The actual Damn is a side walk not a road but Forza using their imagination made it look awesome! What is everyones predictions for the blacked out area? In the demo it appears to be mountains. Maybe snow capped mountains? now that would be awesome to have snow to make the world even more diverse. Hurry up September!!!

Thanks for confirming it, i calculated it various time to make sure it was close to real.
At least we can be sure there’s more on the north since Surfers paradise area is not complete. How much is missing, we don’t know.
I’m more than happy with the map so far, can wait to try my GRC beetle tune on that outback/beaches.
Also i love in FH2 to do high speed pulls with 1,500hp supra, from saint-martin to sisteron, and when you look FH3 map the straight from west to east (top of airport to surfers paradise) looks longer, a heaven for high speed rolls… can’t wait.
The shoud’ve had Byron bay at the place where the abandoned ship is.
Well we have scene the Lambo going through the shore of the ocean but my question is…
How far can you go into the ocean? Like what happens when you drive too far into the ocean? Does it reset you somewhere on the road? Is there an invisible wall? What happens if you flip over in the water? Do you auto loose the event? … please help
Judging from gameplay videos (think it was BlackPathaa), the screen fades to black and resets you back on track similar to rolling over in Horizon 2.

Oh wow interesting. So do you have to keep the top of the roof above the water and or does it change with the height of the car/truck?
Looking at the long stretch of highway from Outback to the city. I bet its going to be an awesome view for a night drive heading to the city from the outback. I bet its going to mimic Sega’s Outrun night race with the city in the far distance. I believed I spotted the Radio Telescopes in the leaked map and compared it to the FH3 trailer where it shows the two buggies riding on a dirt road next to the Radio Telescopes. The Radio Telescopes are on top of the map west of the big city. This may rule out that there might not be much left of the map to go. I noticed in the trailer there is a big mountain that may act like a wall where the FH3 world ends. Or, maybe its just a mountain that we travel around and there is more to the map. What do you guys think? I hope there is more to the map going north.
I love how the clouds move around and the palm trees swing from side to side in the wind.
I also think FM6 hit te nail on the head with the visuals of raining, it looks perfect. But the physics were way over the top to be fair, they shouldn’t ruin your experience like FM6 but cause a slight kiss of performance like FH2
Turn 10 released a video of FM6 with some footage of FH3, FH3 starts around 55 sec. of the video.
At 1:12, the car pass through what look likes a lot of solar panels, i’m trying to find that area on the leaked map, i can’t find it. That means there’s could be more places on the map…

I noticed that area too and I can’t find it either. Of course it simply may not be shown on the map but it makes me think that if there really is more map that it will be to the north of what we know.
- The solar panels ground seems to be dusty/dry so it would make sense to have it near the Outback.
- The city does get rather abruptly cut off to the north with the map we have.
Pure speculation of course but fingers crossed.
I think were safe to say that there’s more, even Manteomax confirmed on the news link topic.

I believe I’ve seen the solar panels next to the airport which, if correct, means they are on the map we know…
i chanced across this YT vid and they show some higher res closeups of the map. If you skip to 3:00 you can see them in the top left of the still. The way the light reflects off them is a giveaway. What do you think?
