Manual gear shifting by itself?

Hello everyone,
I haven’t played FH5 much since the new series started, when I started to play today 31st March I’ve noticed in all of the cars I have driven the MANUAL transmission shift gears by itself
I’ve tried in Manual (my preferred) also tried in Manual with Clutch,
BOTH settings gears get changed without any touch of button often shifts up but also sometimes down, but never into reverse.
Free roaming I can somewhat deal with this problem but when racing generates huge disadvantages.

Is anyone else having this issue?
I want to make sure before diving into opening a ticket.

Interesting because there have been one or two recent occasions when the car I’ve been driving seems to have gone up a gear without any intervention from me. I thought I might have a hair-trigger key on my keyboard, but your experience suggests that this is – at least for me – an occasional bug.

PC, keyboard, manual with clutch.

Upon further investigation I’ve noticed;
Seems to stop when playing offline Horizon Solo
Prevails on Horizon Life/Freeroaming/Racing

I’ve noticed this happens in freeroam sometimes but so far it hasn’t happened to me in any races. It seems to stop after I get pissed and smash the shift down/up buttons a couple times.

I’m still experiencing this and I cannot express how much I hate this game now… unbelievable, I had to go back to FH4 just to get my fixation of manual driving or just to enjoy drifting. PLEASE FIX THIS
