I have a feeling this update is for allowing headphone to be use on the controller only. The twitchy patch was added to the last update but I cannot confirm this. I still went ahead and updated the controller.
If I’m not mistaken, the twitchy patch for the controller is in this March 4th update. The controller driver update is for twitchy & headset adapter.
This update is all about Titan Fall. Friends, party, controller update, Dolby 5.1 (HDMI & optical).
Twitch app gets update next week on Tuesday for broadcasting ability.
Did the controller come with the cord to do the update? I dont remember seeing it in the box.
You will need a play and charge kit, or my friend used his micro usb cord for his cell phone. He plugged the USB into the Xbox and the micro end into his controller and it works. He can also plug it into the wall as well.
The patch for the twitchiness controller that Titan Fall developers wanted taken care of was in the Feb Patch. polycon.com had an article on the update.
