controller update

I don’t know if this has already been discussed (couldn’t find it in search) but I just downloaded the controller update last night. Since then I’ve gotten 3 consecutive golds in events I’ve been struggling to get bronze (yes, I suck). It’s definitely more than placebo effect. It seems as though all assists are on but they’re not. I just have so much more control than I had before the update. Anyway, I’d strongly suggest doing the update if you haven’t.

How do you get it?

In the Xbox One Dashboard, go to Settings, then System. Bottom, left-hand column is Update controller. READ the instructions!

It is an Xbox LIVE update, just released to the public, not anything from individual game producers.

USB cord needs to be plugged to the controller for it to work

this is a new update, not the stereo chat adapter update released last month.

Make sure after doing the update you check your Advanced (X button) settings in the game to make sure they haven’t changed. Sometimes the update will reset our settings to default, and unless you check they may have changed.

Will do. In any event I won’t change the settings, I’ll just make note of them. Whether it’s the update itself or the settings default, it works for me.

Thanks :))

nice! can’t wait to test the triggers…I only got one for two races today in crash lobbies, so hard to say but the braking did feel a little…smoother maybe…thought something was different though! Good stuff …thanks
