Make race transmission work same as in FM(2023)… shifting without using clutch! :slight_smile:

:thinking:Isn’t that just Manual? You know you can change your difficulty to Manual so you don’t need Clutch right?

nope… set your transmission in FM to manual + clutch and build a car with race transmission… you are able to shift extremely fast without hitting the clutch!

If you are building a car in FH5 with race transmission and set manual + clutch you always have to hit the clutch.

yeah, that’s what the clutch is there for to shift the gear otherwise what would be the point of a clutch? mostly every race car in existence has a clutch. you need it in order to do a clean shift. even professional drift cars have a clutch. have you ever heard of clutch kick?

by the way, if you’re shifting without using your clutch, you’re ruining your transmission.

have you ever heard of dog box transmissions?

so many race cars have such an transmission. you only need your clutch for the 1st gear after that you only need to shift!!!

:expressionless:We’re not talking about those types of transmissions. Otherwise, the name of the freaking transmissions would be called dog boxes. Even the description doesn’t even say that.

Plus, the transmission that you’re asking for is from a motorsports game for race cars. You’re asking to put it in a OPEN WORLD DRIVING SIM that it’s purpose is NOT for race cars, but for ROAD CARS.:rofl: You said Race Transmission, that could mean any Race Transmission. I have a buddy of mine that race enduro race cars and they can’t shift like dog boxes so it’s different. They whould have to make a completely new transmission for your request.

:thinking:Honestly though, I don’t see them ever doing this because they still haven’t given us the freedom to choose how many gears we have. i’ve made a post for it, and I have many votes, but they still haven’t done it.:unamused:Maybe when we finally get FH6 but, i’m not holding my breath.

Btw, I watched your dog box video you added and I’ve done that action before in previous titles before the new motorsport, and it always ruined the transmission (quickly taking your foot off the accelerator, then shifting, and then quickly back on the accelerator).
