Hi everyone
I have played forza games for a few years now but what ever.
Have some pretty cool cars in real life, a 427 swapped 1966 fastback mustang, 2003 JCW Mini, and a 350 6.0 power stroke.
Greetings aside I need to ask something. Is there any way to make a car have a louder idle, I mean seriously, if the car isn’t moving it becomes a Prius. I would expect and v8, v10, v12, and sure a w16, to have a noticeable idle. Would be extremely cool if the game could actually implement improved sounds when a car is cammed or a exhaust is installed. Just an idea.
Turn both your Xbox and TV/headset volume settings to the max and enjoy!
Not going to lie this works pretty well haha
Turning radio off also turns up the car audio. I love driving my 69 Charger with the radio off.
I turn everything but car sound down. I dont listen to the in game radio, usually start up Iheartradio and listen to that. I for one, think it would be cool to have some sort of adjustment for the exhaust note. Whether it be a slider that takes you through a range of appropriate sounds per engine. Maybe a stock sound, cammed sound, open exhaust. Something to add to what’s already there. Every 6.2 sounds exactly the same, as well as the V10s and V12s. Yeah, they’d sound similar from car to car, but each car would have its own sound due to many little factors. Length of exhaust, diameter, where it was run, mufflers v open exhaust.
Tiger Woods had this in the golf games. You could unjust the voice of the characters in create a player. I cracked myself up moving up and down the slider hearing “Stay in the fairway, stay in the fairway!!” From deep voiced to helium filled.
Anyway saw the subject of exhaust and figured I’d throw in my 2 cents. I would definitely welcome louder or better exhaust notes for these cars. Like that cut scene when you leave the festival, your car bounces off the limiter several times the drives off at max RPM. I can’t stand that cut scene. Sounds horrible! That could be such a cooler cut scene if it want hitting max rpm and sounding rediculous. Maybe it’s just me.
