So in Australia here Bathurst is on. Forza 7 also contains the v8 supercars… = Full 50 lap race on Bathurst via Forza 7
Here I am, lap 31 and sitting 11th gaining on the group in front. Suddenly, I lose all the textures on the track and I have no idea where I’m driving. I have no idea how I kept so calm to be honest with you, but I was really pissed off later on when realizing I wasted 1hr and 30 minutes. I mean, is it not enough Microsoft/Turn10 that it took me 5 days to download the game itself only to experience glitches and bugs like the “saving dont turn off you PC” bug when trying to tune a car? You charge us all for the game more than it’s worth and yet you fail to patch the game for PC gamers. Since I have so many years of experience and genuine passion for Forza I even installed a developer build on my PC in order to actually be able to play it.
Cut the slack. Stop blaming you average gamer’s PC, OS or any other things that dont have to do with you and own up to your game being complete garbage. Microsoft needs to pull their pants up and actually do something about the horrible store. /rant over
Now to the forum users, what do you think caused this? I personally have above recommended specs on my PC. Anyone else experience this? I’d love to know about it as well.
It’s a memory leak. I quit and restart the game every couple of hours, and before a race at Monza, Laguna Seca, or any oval, as they seem to be the worst tracks for it for me. It’s why I’ve avoided doing the endurance races so far.

I hope Turn10 will think about people who refused to pay for DLCs and VIP mode as well (personnaly, i have supported Turn10 on all of their games, but since FM5, I’ve made other choices).
More time between Motorsport games iteration will seems to me still acceptable, if it will polish more theses games.
I just got this again on my second free race after loading the game. 6 laps in a VIP BMW and I had to do the last 2 laps without textures and just barely winning over the AI.
What also happens when this occurs is that the game struggles to load the resultpage and if you then press continue you will enter an eternal black loading screen.
It is certainly a huge memoryleak issue in the PC version as task manager showed the game using about 11 of my 12GB RAM when this occured. You dont get the XP and juste have to end the process.
Im not sure if its the rewind that triggers/aggrevates it but It textures starte disapearing in one of the rewinds. Was testing out some wheel adjustments.
