When I try and launch the long beach track it freezes while loading it showing the pictures of the track and kicks me to the home screen??? how can I fix this? I really wanna race on long beach!! I even bought the long beach pack.

Max can I just suggest your step 4 be expanded. There are 2 uninstall options. One is game only and the other is game and addons.
I had a similar issue with Road America and it was fixed by uninstalling game only.
If that did not work I would have gone on to uninstalling game and addons.
Both options are worth a shot before going to the more drastic step of deleting saved games etc.
