I haven’t played Forza in a while, maybe like 2 weeks. I saw that it was updating the other day and let it do its thing. Now today when I tried playing it, it won’t even start. It’ll show the cover then says it needs an update. It tries to update but comes back with a message saying there was a problem. I then tried to play offline and it would pull up the cover and quit to the home screen. Did the cold start and it didn’t work. I really hope I dont have to uninstall it to only sit 6-10 hours waiting for it to re-install. And I’ve been reading even uninstalling it doesn’t work… Is anybody else having this problem?
After getting Road America track, I can no longer finish a race at all. Did full uninstall and re-install which did take forever. Now the track loads but crashes to dashboard at some point. Couldn’t even race at Prague. I assume it was the Road America update that broke mine because the car pass didn’t have any problems until now.
EDIT: after uninstalling AGAIN, re-installed everything and no crash to dash yet.
Did you try contacting Xbox support? They’ve helped me with 360 issues through their Twitter handle. Never had one they couldn’t help with.
after recent track download of long beach the track only appears in some of the series races was wondering if this is the way its spose to be or is the track
spose to appear in ever series in every race , after the road america download this track was added to ever race in carreer mode and online can someone please
give me any feedback of simlar issues or is this the way it is spose to be ?

Dude, chill out. It will update on it’s own. Mine did just fine getting Long Beach add on. My console is on “instant on” & “auto uodates”. On Friday when I was at work, my wife downloaded Long Beach Car pack. No problems. She did tell me the console didn’t have option to update Forza when she went to game. I told don’t worry about, I saw T10 twitter post. She cut X1 off. That’s when it pulled it. I got home 2 hrs later & cut on console. It was installing update. Long Beach track was there ready to be raced by me for 3 straight hrs.
So far, my Day One X1 has been smooth sailing. I haven’t had any problems with FM5 at all. In no way. Heck, I haven’t had problems with my Thrustmaster TX either.
The only thing I do to my X1 is periodically take it off Instant On & fully cut it off to clear the cache. Every blue moon the Bitstream acts up (bug) & I have to fully turn off console. Other than that, I’m good to go.

READ THAT THE PACK SHOULD BE VALUED AT AROUND $7 ON ITS OWN FOR THE SEVEN CARS I DON’T HAVE AN OPITION TO BUY THE PACK ON ITS OWN SOMETHING MUST HAVE STUFFED UP WITH THE UPDATE , I BUY THE PACKS AS THEY COME AVALIABLE ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEMS LIKE THIS WITH THE NEW UPDATE ?
