Logitech g923 with shifter issues

Hi everyone

i just purchased the Logitech G923 with manual shifter for my Xbox Series X,

On my PC this combo workings however on my Xbox series x the shifter wont work at all.

Manual turned on?
It’s working here but have to remove every other controller/keyboard to get wheel working

manual on yes, i will try it with the controller turned off, even in the menu of my xbox it doesnt find the wheel at all

yeah something is broken ingame but on xbox os too
when wheel is connected and i’m playing fh4 with controller it shows in middle of race “controller disconnected” until wheel is disconnected
best thing is to remove every other controller and then start fh4

I bought the G923 as well when it released, but at the time I didn’t have my Xbox, I had my PS4 and intended to play Gran Turismo, Project Cars, etc. That being said, part of the reason I bought it was because it said it was also PC compatible but it didn’t work with FH4 whatsoever despite it being listed by Logitech as compatible with FH4, w/o the new force feedback additions.

Semi-related note, I also misunderstood some of the info when I bought it and thought it would work with PS4, Xbox, and PC all three when I bought it. I basically thought it was just a version of the same wheel with controller markings for that edition of the console. I learned though that of course this wasn’t the case and started researching. Turns out I wasn’t the only one that thought that and I contacted Logitech support about it. After about a week they got back to me confirming what I already knew, BUT did state that the devs ARE working on a firmware update for these that will allow them to work regardless of platform! I think they should have done that from the outset since some of their competition already does it.

I looked into Drivehub but didn’t really fancy paying another $80 but was still considering it if they added the G923 to the list. I contacted them about it and they confirmed that it’s not in the firmware yet and they didn’t know if there were any plans for it.

Beyond that issue, I love the wheel. I’m looking into putting a new shifter housing on though that makes me less likely to hit 5th when I want to hit 3rd haha.
