So I recently went and bought myself a logitech G920 wheel and shifter for forza/pc games. First time trying it on Forza Horizon 3 today, and I’m struggling slighty. When I’m driving, it seems to ‘jolt’ from left to right. It mainly happens when I hit something but doesn’t stop me, also when I turn slowly and go up curbs, it’ll just rock the steering slightly and doesn’t feel smooth.
I don’t seem to have this problem on any other games so I can only think it’s something to do with Forza. I’m not sure if it’s part of the force feedback or if it’s just part of the game? This is my first proper wheel so I’m still learning the settings etc. but if anyone could help me out with this jolting. it’d be much appreicated.
Also note that Logitech does not include Forza Horizon 3 in its list of officially supported games, so it could also be that some of the signals it receives just simply aren’t correct.
That said, I have a G920 and have had no issues whatsoever. It is a great wheel for the price!
Yeah, that jolting is the FFB. It’ll really kick in on the dirt tracks but it’s normal - it was made like that. My G920 is my first wheel so I don’t have anything to compare it with but I’m delighted with it. I’ve even gone back to driving FM5 and FH2 because it’s so much fun to drive.
