My Forza 6 game crashed at the end of the results menu during a multiplayer game and booted me back to dashboard, after restarting the game I received “Load failed” message. I have been with Microsoft support and they have helped me through many hours performing all troubleshooting steps; Microsoft have left me with a reference case number and suggested that I contact this developer. After no success, the result is that I cannot sync my save data from cloud (corrupted game save during crash). The biggest problem for me is my car setups, designs, and credits.

Still no acknowledgment of this? could someone point me in the right direction to get support for this game, I have reached level 150 with many cars, tuning setups, and designs in forza 6. I am really frustrated about this issue.

My advice to you would be to keep trying and be persistent. “forzafb@microsoft.com” is the official Turn 10 email address, but many people have been ignored there before.

I am pretty sure some stats (driver level, cars in garage) would remain independent of your game save, as it does for the rewards programme. Perhaps using that they can gift you some credits to make up for it?

I just sent email to that link. It auto replied something about how they don’t respond to all their emails due to high volume. I also would like to point out that I have earned gold painter reward for 10 five star car designs with over 1000 downloads total from gamers; and I had personal car tunes that helped me get to the top of the boards and online races. Many cars in garage, Forza rewards and over 15,000,000 cr still available. That was many productive hours spent in this game that I fear is lost forever.

I have the same issue. I can’t get any kind of response what so ever ,not even a [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. I don’t have the patience to re-do and re-earn all my cars and money. I just want my money back.

I have just ran into this problem my self, I am currently trying to re-download the game… I as well love forza 6, although not as good as you. But I do spend my time playing this game through out the night. It is indeed mind blowing turn 10 will not recognize this issue with a quick response or at least we are working on it email. I will also email them to let them know this is a issue with more and more players every day and will become a problem the more they choose to ignore it.

My question is, should I delete save data from everywhere and start playing until they restore my earnings in the game, or should I continue to wait for them to respond to the current issue?

I would delete any of your saved game data. I wouldn’t not until you are told what is going on with forza 6.

It’s been 3 days for me. I havent got any response at all. I had to delete both saves and nobody seems interested in giving me my cars and credits back.

When you clear up Local Saved Games from the dash, you can re-sync save data from the cloud. That should bring back everything according to the last time the game synced with servers.

Have you tried that already? You probably have.

yes I have already tried that, It syncs to 99% and gives the “We are sorry, unable to sync data at this time” error

I have PANIC!! if this happens to me; in the past i suffered with other games (Grid 2 and Gris AS) and is one of the worse things in videogames could happens in modern days.

To avoid this i think that when the game crashes, inmediatly discinnect the network cable fron the XB1, restart the game, if everything is ok it should means that the local data save is good, is ok. But if is not i suposse that the sync with the cloud is not inmediatly or instantly, so the cloud-save-game file should be content its last update, maybe everything except the last hours playing or so.

I not very sure about that, about how the sync works, but i guess that the cloud locate file it takes a time to sync with the local file. So i´ll delete the local wich doens´t work and is corrupted and try to start the game, it should be load the cloud save game file hours or minutes before the crash and only lose a little part of the game progress…only supossing, ok.

But if is working like i imagine i´ll disconect the net cable everytime the game freezes, ahng, crash, whatever…and try DISCONECTED to sart the game again.

Ok, here is what happened. I started over with my profile and my personal tunes and designs appeared back in the game. Since then I have been grinding to get my cars back and 2nd run through career.

I was in the middle of a multiplayer game, just finished the race so my driveatar was being terrible as always. The game crashes and i attempted to restart it but now the game will not load. It comes up with a ‘LOAD FAILED’ message and tells me to try again later. I did try again later but no luck. I have tried to look for a solution but couldn’t find one. The game has been out for weeks and people have been having this error since release. Im still waiting for some support, i would like to play this game since i spent over £60 on it…

Thanks for your help but Im not sure that post is related to my problem and a restart had no effect. Even the hard reboot of the console did nothing. I have tried looking for other people with this problem but the only unofficial solution i can find so far is to delete your data/save file and i don’t want to loose the hours and hours of gameplay and cars i have unlocked so far. It seems a bit crazy that I would have to delete everything and start the game again with nothing just for a bug! What if it happens again next week anyway?!

I spoke to Microsoft this morning and was told to send them my xbox… I have also just reinstalled the game with no change. I don’t want to send them my xbox as other games work fine. Has anyone else had this issue or found a solution which doesn’t involve loosing all your progress or sending your console to Microsoft?

Edit: Quick update.

I have just attempted deleting the local save file and syncing the data upon opening the game. This did not work and i still receive the same LOAD FAILED message.

I believe the next step will be to remove the save file from everywhere and start forza 6 again from scratch. This is very upsetting as i have unlocked most of the game playing since release, competed in leagues and even have custom tunes and paints saved to my account.

Is this not an official forza 6 support forum? is there nobody official who can give me some support with this issue?

I had the exact same thing happen to me on Christmas Eve. Same situation, same message.

So far I have done the following:

Hard reset XboxOne Hard wired it to router and reset the router
Altered start up from powersave to instant on Uninstalled FM6 and reinstalled it (all content inc. Car Pass and VIP)

I have just read the above message but feel reluctant to delete my profile.

At the moment i am playing FM6 on my wife’s profile but dont think it appropriate to go online with my new headset doing this. I am level 870, own 200+ cars with upgrades and have well over 200m credits. If in the end that game save cannot be retrieved then so be it but i would like use of my VIP/Car Pass again. Any help would be appreciated
