Liveries - Players getting Too Many Saves when trying to import vinyl or liveries from FH5 (1667962)

@Desireless76
Not the same issue … you CAN Sync Files from FH5. If you can’t Import them that is something different. There is a Thread for that. We cant even Sync Files. We get an Error.

The same on the PC, what worries me is that they have a lot of things to fix and test.
Not to mention the hundreds of crashes when I’m doing some design or tuning it’s almost impossible to create one without the game crashing

I’m having an issue with this on PC.
Every time I try to import layer groups from Horizon 5 it just says failed please try again later.
All my liveries synced fine though.

Lol i tried importing vinyls in order too, VAG aftermarket, BMW aftermarket, Nissan aftermarket only to find out the rearranged everything. I understand now why that wasnt important

I’m on the Microsoft Store PC version and I can’t import anything from FH4 or FH5.

Ok, the fix for me was, jumped on FH5 grouped a few vinyls together, deleted the singles i just grouped everything shows up in FM and imports. I was at max capacity for vinyl groups i don’t know if that was the original problem to start with. Good luck peeps hope this helps.

I am having a similar problem. I can’t import a FM7 livery into this game. In my case it’s the whole car livery which doesn’t want to upload.
Furthermore, many of my vinyl groups are also not showing within the import overview for FM7.
Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

I’ve noticed something weird about the livery import system. Yesterday, I shared a fresh livery in FH5 for the Lexus LC 500 that I wanted to import into Forza Motorsport, but when I went to see my FH5 liveries, the new one wasn’t there.

If anyone else is having the same issue, please reply.

most of new liveries dont appear.
I made/remade some ansd only a few apper.

Im not a steam user, always MS store

Having this issue recently, I used to be able to check the FH5 content from FM23, but at least since last update, the exact same problem as reported here is going on, with the same error displayed, every other game will import liveries and vinyl groups from previous Forzas, but will refuse to do it with FH5 content, no matter how you try it, or the amount of content in FH5 (quite low, really) people are mixing this issue with a similar one as stated before, some people don’t see anything after a ‘successful’ import, content is missing, and/or different errors are displayed, in this case, the second you try to import it, the sync fails and that’s it, the content displayed before (FM23 or FH4, the tabs next to it) are still displayed under FH5.

Since I started work on new cars in FH5 before FM23 release, it means I can’t work on new designs until this is fixed, since I’m definitely not redoing all the work I did, plenty of hours involved, just to bypass not only an issue, but a brand new one I never had until now. A fix is definitely urgent, please.

Also playing on PC, MS Store.

Not the same issue as the already known one with Steam version or the issue of vinyl groups importing.

I am on PC on the MS Store version of the game and cannot even sync files to see them from Horizon 5 for either Liveries or Vinyl Groups!

I was able to sync them initially in early access but can no longer see them or manage to sync them again since release.

I am able to sync from all other previous titles, just not from Forza Horizon 5!

Until this is fixed I cannot make liveries without first remaking all my Vinyl Groups from Horizon 5 which I really don’t want to have to resort to!

I did the same thing.

I don’t believe this is the same issue, I can’t even sync the files, let alone get to the point of importing them.
Also surprised to see this still isn’t on the known issues page for all platforms!

Bug Info: When loading any tunes (my own or any from other players) the game gives a ‘you have too many files of this type, please delete some first’ error. Deleting doesn’t stop this error, and new tunes I make can still be saved.
Of note, occured after car build (#73 porsche GT race car) was changed by entering it into the forza gt featured multiplayer lobby.
Refered to post here by T10Yaachts on steam, as they said it’s not a known bug.

I’ve also had this several times

Its still not possible to even sync liveries from Forza Horizon 5 on any platform, let alone import them and this still hasn’t been added to the known issues list despite the number of people that have reported it.
If its not addressed in the next update I’m going to have to start remaking everything from Horizon 5 in this games inferior livery editor!
