reading that from a non FH3 is kind of ‘I am not mad in the end’ , totally agree, reward you get only playing dirty and if you are lucky enough to be in right team, tried to play today, 3 races first but loss the championship, last race I was alone of my color … just sucks.
I just remembered that you can’t use the Master Chief’s armor as an outfit after playing the Halo Experience. THAT’S disappointing.
Overall I really like this game, but there is still a lot of room for improvement:
- no class based rivals
- no championships
- front loads the content too much
- hard to find an online match, surely this isn’t because a lack of players
- lack of UK style licence plates and LHD traffic is a bit of an immersion killer
- although the Forzathon live events are great fun, they don’t seem balanced for the number of players (especially drift zones)
- emotes
- can’t preview designs before downloading them
Not playing anymore. I loved the '19 911 GT3 RS and I can’t get it anymore. Don’t tell me about wheelspins cuz it’s a joke. Arranged a sale between me and another dude for the car and it got snatched in the auction house. Not playing anymore.
They should make people who got to the Prestige Mode able to unlock a new part of the island, or maybe even a new world with new things that only the top players and people who worked hard can get, so people would be hyped and grind all day to get to Prestige Mode again and again. For me the Influence is like a race, you want to get a prestige over anyone faster.
Right now the only thing you get is a Star and Level 1 and a pointless wheelspin.
Make the world bigger over time, and maybe add some random new racing gamemodes which is a LTM (Limited Time Mode) and will disappear in maybe a week or a few days. Maybe make some enjoyable races or competitive gamemodes which will make a Player “Best of Halloween” and “Best of Christmas” with a Leaderboard of the top 500 or something. So people have something to look forward too at special events in the real life with good Rewards for the Top 10 players, who grinded and worked hard for it.
It has to feel like: “I really hope this will be here next year!”

Issue is the definition of top player, for many a top player of race game, is someone able to win race without a single hit like in real life, clean with no helps on. In FH4, it is not the definition, the definition is given my Master section, a top player is the one that has the best ratio of win/loose no matter how dirty, no matter the helps, no matter anything. That is the actual spirit of FH4,
Already saw some strategy like using trucks to block people in town races while others of same team go the arrival, that is now Horizon,
I am afraid, nitro will come sooner than world enhancement …
This. Something along those lines, just something extra, a new area (highly unlikely unfortunately), more races, championships, more story. etc
I’ve listed all my problems with the game a couple pages back but, lack of content, progression & story are my biggest disappointments & having something else to build to would help
How FH4 can improve:
- vote for class based MP championships, and weather, and possibly drive train
- add individual MP championships and not always team races, a mix of both is fine like FH2/3
- add lap times even for team races
- don’t clump the team positions on the top and bottom after the race, have theme stacked from 1 - 12 in their appropriate colours like FH2/3
- include a very long airport to test our top speeds…the drag strip at the festival is pathetic…we’ll never reach our max speed on S2+
- do not put us in that all white matrix style loading screen after every race, it totally ruins the immersion - FH2/3 had the positioning and leader boards with the finish line and scenery in the background
- add club leaderboards, and if you join a club, don’t change your avatar picture to the club picture
- allow us to buy clothes, emotes with credits, don’t include them in (super) wheelspins with cars/credits
- add back the car skill tree that affects all cars
There’s definitely more to add but these are the ones that mean most to me. I played the hell out of FH2 and loved the massive improvement to MP selection in FH3.
FH4 has massive potential with route creator but core changes need to be made for this game to feel like an improvement to it’s predecessor.

-Clothing rewards are kind of silly. Just give me a few racing suits to choose from. I don’t need pink beach shorts…
Got another dud of a wheelspin today after doing the seasonal danger sign. Should go without saying this is more than a little disappointing.
Dude, i’ve had maybe 40-50 wheelspins & 95% of them have been worse then that. I see people saying they make so much money off wheelspins, have many houses & get all the cars they want. Yet i’m the majority of the way though the game & I haven’t been able to buy a 2nd house as the only winnings from races (which i play on pro-unbeatable with most assists off) & the extremely little from wheelspins has had to go on buying the very few cars i both needed & could only afford.
Personally as i said above, it’s not the worst issue for me but this game whilst it definitely has its moments, is a mess & a shadow of it’s former self. I kinda wish H3 had this map, graphics & seasons. That or they just sort the lack of content, lack of progression system & lack of any story with this game.
In FH3, I made 10 event blueprint championships for multiple genre types of events (trail, road, circuit, point to point, cross country etc) in main and the snow in different types of cars, (rally, off road heroes, classics etc) with different weather patterns, time of day etc. I had tuned my fav cars (keeping them in original class) in each of my fav genres with different classes (A, B, C etc) of cars.
That ability is gone.
Having no blueprint championships, as truely wonderfully done in FH3, sucks.
No decal materials option, and decals inheriting base paint material.
Honestly how is this not a part of the editor yet, even Need for Speed has this feature and their editor is far behind the complexity of Forza.

Also, having only one pickup point in Flag Rush. Trying to play a game where 6 opposition players spend the entire time camped around it isn’t much fun. And why do I keep losing flags without being touched by another car?

Mostly everyone else is getting knock off Walmart Clarence isle [word that is starred out].
(cant believe that is considered a curse word? I guess the emotes targeting the 12 year old’s is true)
On top of this, most of the prize cars are worthless.
Pretty much what everyone else has said:
-No Championships
-Progression too front-loaded - being bombarded with content and credits during the Prologue (and just after) but after that earning credits and unlocking takes ages.
-The post-race screen (silly prizes in Wheelspin etc)
-Houses - a nice idea but it’s almost as if it was just shoved in at the end and thus half-baked. The houses have no real function other than unlocking a couple of perks.
-The skill trees being car-specific instead of global.
I love the map and the actual driving part of the game though.
- Menu is confusing
- Wheel spins suck. Nobody wants to win clothes or useless horns etc.
3 traction is terrible - Damn near impossible to get the fast travel board on top of the church.
- Same old wheels
