That is the only status in this game that is worth something, tbh. VIP can be bought, everything else is given to you by the game for just existing. Legendary is being appreciated by the playerbase. Not an easy task. AND it removes your buyout limiter on the AH, meaning youāre not gonna be short on cash ever. Although I dont know how that can be a thing in Fh5.
if you are smart and play the auction house correctly you can make 999zillions in no time and not needing legendary status at all.
(good internet speed is key and being fast on the controls and you can be a good sniper of auction house car deals)
i did the auction house thing in steam version of FH4 when it first released and within a couple weeks i was a 999zillionaire and i still have many cars to sell for profit and to keep me at 999ziliions.
and i was not a legendary painter at all!
its a useless status like the HOF in FH5 to make you feel good for the time your wasting ⦠that is all!
If you did all that in a couple of weeks you did far more work than becoming a Legendary Status player. I did what you did, but it took about a year. I was legendary at about 9 months. It took me about 2 weeks just to get the castle.
So FH5 has been out 2 weeks now so you must already have 999999999 credits.
your post just proved a lot esp. the last sentence which clearly shows that you do not know how the auction house works.
so, i will leave you to figure that out.
anyone saying that legendary status is worthless clearly canāt paint worth a dam to begin with. i have been legendary in the past titles of Horizon and i tell you that you donāt get there with shoddy work. as for making maximum credits already i suspect that the person in question is cheating to begin with, which makes them nothing more than a troll in this thread.
Hmm, AFAIK in FH4 a lot of the legendary painters were people who had first mover advantage of getting the game on day one (or prior to day one, ie. streamers) who had a storefront full of normal single colour paints, which amassed hundreds of thousands of downloads simply by being pushed under peopleās noses and them clicking on them because they were at the front of the queue.
again, āthereās just no accounting for tasteā. i personally donāt understand someoneās motivations for downloading a simple livery like the ones you mentioned when itās such a simple thing to do a color change on a car yourself. people are lazy.
Is that why you are sharing single colour or ātwo stripesā liveries? Not using, nothing wrong with using, but SHARING them? Damn fine job, LEGEND. Not a shred of dignity.
Yeah, as you probably figured out I checked up on your liveries in FH5. Really wanted to see how good of a livery creator you must be to talk so big. Turns out ādiddly squatā is the level one must attain to have this big wanger livery creator energy.
Answering your question as to āwhy it only took you 10 minutes to make a monster energy logo, while you describe the difficulty of creating a silhouette layer groupā is āmost likely because the logo you ended up making was crap, and the silhouette looks so difficult to you that you wont even dare to try and make itā.
Feel free to go into my library and shit all over my monster energy liveries, but with the library of your uploads, I truly wouldnāt if I were you.
Because itās even easier than doing it yourself. You buy the car, the next screen is āpopular liveriesā, a lot of people probably just press the first one to get that screen out of the way quicker.
oh come on, Iāve seen 50k downloads on a black livery with a gold basketball player silhouette on it for just one car, hardly an hour worth of work, copy pasted to multiple cars, and released in ātrying timesā preferably right as people receive the new car that livery goes to, and they will get that. They wont wait for a few hours for somebody to get good livery out, they will download the crap thatās there, promoting it in the process.
Some people do the supply/demand route and get that status easy peasy.
Which is not to say that most legendaries arenāt that for a reason, and their work is crap.
that livery you mentioned took a lot more work than you realize. do you know how they got that silhouette gold? by creating the template for it and painting the car gold. then the artist applied the template and multiple other layers to get the desired effect. that template alone i would guess took the artist at least an hour or two to create. but to your point, i have seen some questionable liveries out there that left me wondering how they got so many downloads. āSupremeā and āMonsterā are just a couple of examples. i just chalk it up to the old adage āthereās just no accounting for tasteā.
Dude, I know whatās involved, donāt talk like itās rocket science.
That livery would take about 60 minutes to make a mask template, 15 if the guy used a semi transparent overlay via macros, or that method used by xbox users described somewhere here. then itās off to the races of āpaint goldā and āapply big black squares over carā, finished off by āinsert layer groupā and āsave liveryā
You say I donāt realize how hard it is to make that gold crapper, yet you shit on monster energy, where just the monster logo itself on itās own would take more time than to make the whole livery, and then the monster logo needs a livery to go with it, and other aftermarket logos to finish it off. And even if somebody just craps out the same monster energy livery for every car he still needs to go in and manually adjust each time so the livery fits the car proportions. I got way more respect for a simple good monster energy logo than I do for the gold basketball player livery collection
LAUGH.OUT.*******.LOUD. you claim to āknowā what youāre talking about and say " just the monster logo itself on itās own would take more time than to make the whole livery". why is it that i made one in the past and it might have taken me all of 10 minutes? you sir are a troll and clearly DON"T KNOW SQUAT. i guess iāll be using the block feature here for the first time. congratulations.
I have a question if one donāt have talent for being an artist, is one therefore not gonna reach legendary status?
For short what fors it take to become a legendary painter or a legendary tuner?

Downloades, likes and uses (15 minutes of useage) are tracked by the game.
When the sum of all these over all your liveries/tunes reches 50.000 you become a legendary painter/tuner. Read somewhere that vinyls count towards liveries.
Once you own all of the cars and houses, credits are the least important part of the game. In FH5, Iāve got 115 million credits and nothing to spend them on except part upgrades. In FH4, Iāve got 999,999,999 credits just sitting there.
