The left thumbstick has a full 360 degree rotational capacity. If it was utilized for steering, we would have 200% more accuracy and control in steering. That’s 200% more fun.
Totally, agree, by using X and Y coordinates of the thumb-stick you could increase the wheel angle. If you were able after pushing the thumb-stick full left/right as normal, to then rotate it down to continue rotating the wheel which would feel quite intuitive for instance.
Needs slightly cleverer coding mapping wheel positioning to X and Y values, and a bit of logic stopping the wheel switching from full left to full right lock, however not impossible.
