Turn 10 please this is starting to DRIVE me crazy. I’ve had 3 races ruined in the last hour, within the first 3 seconds of the green light. Someone is either not paying attention or their load screen took a little longer than it should. When these things occur its a instant pile up, I mean we’ve might as well hit a wall going 120. Cars are disabled and no way to even drive back to the pit.
I dont think its fair to sit in a lobby waiting for a race to start, just to have to quit out 3 seconds in with a totaled car.
On the next update, can you guys allow a 5 second ghost time in the beginning of each simulation race to try and combat this issue? Thanks
Unfortunately this is not a new thing.
I only participate in the ghost races for the League events because of this demolition derby stuff, both at the beginning of a race and throughout the race as well.
Sorry to say, this stuff has ruined quite a bit of on line racing for me and has for quite some time.

It’s likely just the “black screen” thing where it drops you into the race without a countdown and everyone is already moving. Been happening for a long time, but it’s oddly inconsistent. Sometimes it will happen 6 times in one night, then I won’t see it a single time for 2 weeks.
Some believe that it is tied to re-running the same race in a private lobby… Which, from running organized race practice sessions and stuff, does seem to have an effect on its frequency, but certainly isn’t the cause of it as it does happen in hoppers where tracks aren’t repeated.
It’s also one of the things they have made basically no acknowledgement of, along with the disappearing cars after pit stops. I’d expect they will just ignore it, but I hope I’m wrong… Although admittedly, it’s inconsistency does likely make it hard for them to test out if it isn’t easily repeatable.
Just a heads up guys, they are aware of both these issues and are working on them. Some of these “bugs” are apparently quite challenging and not easy to fix.
