I am having difficulty joining the Grassroots division races on a consistent basis for wekk 1 of season 2 in the Lambo Super Trofeo league. This is the only lobby/multiplayer I am having any issues with in either Forza 5 or 6. I can get right in to any other league or multiplayer race want. Yesterday wasn’t as bad as today. Today I got in occasionally but sometimes would be disconnected from the server in the middle of a race. Again I emphasize, The Lambo League is the only league in which this is happening. When I keep trying to join, I usually get the 'failed to find game ’ message and will try again. Hard restarts mostly do not help, but then again, I really wouldn’t expect them to, since all other multiplayer is working 100% fine.
Further, when I do get in, it is rare that there are more than 5 other racers there. There are usually only about 3. This was the case for most of the time from 11AM until 1 AM EST.
Currently only 22 unique racers have placed (scored at least 100 points) in the Grassroots division.
I checked in the Rivals for Season 2, Week 1 and it looks like currently 4937 people have entered that. Assuming an equal distribution among the 5 levels, I would expect there to be nearly 1000 in each level. So, I am sure that we are not equally distributed, but I would still expect there to be more than 22 in Grass roots. It seems strange to me that since we need to win a car in both Rivals and Leagues each of the 3 weeks that only 22 people would have scored points in the Grassroots division.
If this stays the same, that would mean that only 11 would survive for week 2. (I know that anyone can still race even if they don’t place in the top 50% during week 1, but I would expect that not every one of the 22 would). This would then mean that only 5 of us would poetntially win a car during week 2.
This doesn’t bode well for week 3 in this division.
I am a bit confused as how I got back in Grassroots. I was one division higher for weeks 1 and 2 in Season 1, and placed in the top 6% in week 1 and I think top 10% in week 2. For week 3 I found myself back in Grass roots where I placed in the top 5%. My guess is that I didn’t do well enough in enough races (although I occasionally did place in the top 3 with a couple of wins), but rather I raced in quite a few races so my total points put me in the top %.
I’m getting the message ‘Failed to acquire server data’ everytime I try to join the huracan league. Have also noticed I’m in Pinnacle again, I’m way too slow to be in Pinnacle!
I am in Pro, i competed in 10+ races on friday and 5 or so on saturday (both time slots). Hardly more then 5 other racers in the same game. Getting points this way is ridiculouusly hard. Friday i managed to get to 2000 points in total, that was including one races that i won! I the pro class there are now arround 323 active players, and that number got me worried as wel. Looking at the leaderboards, there are racers there that allready have 100K+ points. I assume they earned these points by winning races with full hoppers, not by just 5 competing players.

Totally agree, this isn’t looking good. Got me thinking if competing in the current league races is a waste of time. In season 1 every week the number of players dropped which made sense due to people not getting in the top 50%. But these low numbers arent workable for me. Especially how higher the class you race in, the more competitive the players are. So in pro you cant assume that the other players suddenly stop racing so you can secure a spot in the top 50%. If a player droppes out of the top 50% in week 1, i dont think you can expect that player to do races in week 2 or 3, so the number of active players will drop significantly.
Took a look in the league tonight from time to time and it was 3-5 racers online, with these numbers i decided to quit for tonight, not worth the time for these few points. I also wonder where are all the other active players i came across in season 1.
