Kudos DOES give wheelspins

I just started the game - one wheelspin which must have been the daily one from that house. I went to messages, one rival had beaten my time, two gifts had been collected and I had a dozen or so likes on a blueprint.

I then had 2 wheelspins. I did not go up a level, unless it was “silent”. When I drove away from the house I got 2 kudos from the gifts then 12 from the blueprint. The total is now 6472, up, then, from 6458. Not numbers that obviously might trigger something.

Regardless, I see no explanation other than Kudos. I hadn’t even moved the car.

I maintain that anyone getting Kudos in this way probably doesn’t need Wheelspins. I have everything possible (though I do want another Ranger Raptor, that’s listed as a Wheelspin possibility).

I wish we could gift wheelspins, i have over 200 super and alot more of the normal ones that i will never ever spin.

I would have turned off wheelspins in December 2021 if possible. I hate them, they are a waste of time, they are subversively addictive, they put unwanted cars in my garage several times a day which I have to remove. I have over 2000 of them, I’ve been deleting the super wheelspins every week, and I don’t do any seasonal pr stunts anymore.

LET US TURN OFF WHEELSPINS.

That’s the first I’ve heard that request. And it’s kinda funny because there’s people that pay real money for the modded accounts so they can have “all the wheelspins” (not realizing how worthless they are once you have all the cars).

If kudos/wheelspins converted into extra livery/tune slots…. THAT would be motivation for me, anyway. Especially liveries for me, but I imagine tuners would like tune slots.

there has to be a plan for kudos at some point… I have 7400 and as of now they’re totally pointless, yet theres an entire tile for them in the “my horizon” screen.

I got a reply from someone on Reddit - apparently the kudos from creatives feeds into the levels there and when a level there goes up a wheelspin appears, that does seem to explain the observations I have - it’s not common for me, it didn’t match a “round” number of kudos points, etc

could be but numerous games have half-baked ideas that never go anywhere; AC Valhalla for example has a viking-for-hire system that has some levelling and other players involved but the implementation is to say the least confusing, very limited and of no real benefit anywhere - only explained by an unfinished concept

it’s been said often, Forza games are built mostly to test features for the next Forza game
