KOENIGSEGG AGERA Tuning

Hi I am currently tuning this car. I have been looking at tips on how to tune and slowly learning how to. I don’t get much time gaming anymore due to have my first baby (7 weeks old now). so time is limited and I have spent last couple of nights for an hour playing around with my tune.

I have saved my tune as Agera v2 WIP.

if anyone has time and is good at tuning would it be possible to download my tune and give it some laps and give me some feedback through private message ?

seeing as I don’t have a lot of spare time anymore it would be so helpful to have feedback on the tune I have started working on.

this would be great help in learning without having much spare time to play around with.

the reason I chose this car was due to it being so fast and having a lot of understeer.

I may be stupid to try this one first but its what ive done so any feedback welcome.

im trying to make it as balanced as possible for circuit racing. good round corners and keeping the power on the rear whilst exiting corners without too much oversteer and wheel spin.

I may be really off but some feedback from experts on this game would be amazing !

many thanks peps.

You know if you want an R class there are plenty better options than the Königsegg… They may not be as outright fast but are much more stable, much more reliable, much sweeter handling, much more consistent and much more fun to throw around a track… Like the Veneno or Pegani Zonda C or the McLaren P1…

I’m sure someone will help you with the tuning of the Agera though.

Thanks mate, my tuning may well be well off ! as this my first attempt and actually tuning a car. once I have some feedback on this car I really wanna try the veneno , hurican and 458 italia. as they are a few of my fav cars.

I just wanna know if im doing it completely wrong or if my tuning on the agera is going in the right direction but need some guidance.

I chose it as I know its a very hard car to master

If there is anyone out there willing to download my tune and provide feedback and possibly some guidance I would be extremely thankful.

I would like to know if im doing it completely wrong or if im going in the right direction, thanks again

Save the tune where you are, revert back to stock. Run 5 laps stock and record your fastest lap time. Then reload your tune, run 5 laps record your best time. Compare the times.
If you’re slower with the tune then it’s going in the wrong direction. Focus on stability and the balance. A little oversteer is good but only exiting a corner with the throttle nailed and it has to be controllable. When I’m home I’ll download it and try it.

In the mean time I know you’re busy with the baby (congratulations by the way) but give my Agera a try I’m getting a lot of great feedback for it. Same with the 458 Italia.

Got 5 hours to go before I can download and try yours out

Thanks for the reply mate really appreciate the support on the forums. Great community. Cheers man. Ill probably be able to get on a tad later once shes bathed and fed and hopefully settled. I have used forzatune6 to create a base tune for the veneno and im going to adjust from there to my liking. Im just interested to see what people think of what ive done on my own to the agera. Ill test it myself also but its always good to get feedback from people with good experience on this game (racing and tuning alike)

I will defo download and like your tunes also

The problem is in that tuning is subjective. You might have built a crazy good car for yourself but others may not like it at all. As I said I’ll deffo download it and try it, will give you feedback and suggest changes if need be but just be aware that works for 1 may not work for others. I’d suggest to you to post your work as an open source so everyone can try it, have a look and make tweaks to give you a top notch set up like others have done. Problem there is that a lot of people will make changes and not post them.

Basically what I look for is a set up that promotes front end grip over responsiveness and a rear end that pushes the front out of the corner on the throttle as aposed to sliding out of it.

Finish in a few hours so will download it and try it out but if you can try my tune and let me know how it feels to you in comparison then we can attack the task of helping you tune a car to your liking. It doesn’t matter really what others think so long as you can extract the maximum out of it.

Nice one cheers fella. I know its all about how each persons like to drive the car and the personal feel. Everyones different . its good to have feedback though. Maybe makes new friends who are part of the community. I really really want the tx thrustmaster. Its just justifying to the mrs spending 200 on it lol. I have now got to grips with manual with clutch gearing ! Second nature already

Ahh i don’t have the space for a racing wheel so I’m stuck with the controller  Still thinking about the madcatz wheel

I need a steering wheel set up in my life dammit !! Idbdjdbd !!

Ok so I’ve finally gotten round to driving your Agera. First off it’s probably the best handling Agera I’ve driven and it’s pretty solid. You’ve got just enough slip in the rear when you throw it into a corner when lifting off that the rear end counteracts the usual understeer. The acel lock id say is a tiny bit low maybe increase is by 5%.

I’m going to say it’s got way too much power in there. Drop the power so it sits Nicky at the top of R class it’s help with the wheel spin every time you think about nailing the throttle and save probably another second off the lap time.

Tyre wear is very very high which makes me think you’ve got a lot of toe on there?? (5 laps of Silverstone GP and I got 37% front and 45% rear wear) in comparison my Agera at 9 laps had 26% front and 23% rear wear. Rear is down to overheating caused by wheel spin, front because I keep locking the brakes.

Which brings me onto the next point. I can see you have a soft set up on the springs and ARBs so try 49/51 bias with 138psi that should sort the braking out.

All in all it’s pretty good. 0.3 seconds faster than mine round the same track and not having to work quite as hard as I do in mine for the time.

wow… im quite impressed the tune was actually ok ! , thank you so much man ! ill add you as a friend on xbox live later on. thank you for your feedback. I will make some adjustments based on your feedback. if you get round to testing any more of my tunes that would be great.

my McLaren P1 tune has quite a few downloads. ive recently added a new file “P1 WIP V2” which has my latest adjustments. if you could test that then top bloke.

if tuned my 458 italia to top of R class and that’s a real demon to tame and may need slightly less power under the hood. im still working on the tune but have shared what ive done so far.
again thanks for your feedback.

The 458 won’t compete in R class. There are way too many stronger options grip wise. You might be able to make the 458 faster in a straight line but the genuine R class cars will stop and grip better and run rings around you even at an oval… Just look at the Veneno, la Ferrari, p1, Zonda, ultima… Just to name a few.
That cars tricky enough in S class lol. Haven’t got the credits to invest in the P1.

Yeah i thought it was too powerful. Ill have to downgrade it and see what i can do with it. Well when you can and you fancy investing check it out. Also if you have the veneno i feel like thats a great tune especially for grip and putting power down out from corners. La ferrari will be my next one to play with.
