people cant buy older forza games anymore exept getting used copies for the Xbox consoles,
So adding keyboard and mouse support for Xbox would be great for people who would rather play the games with those peripherals.

With XBox Game pass, can’t you then install the disc copy on XBox and then play it on PC through Game Pass? Maybe?

It’s not possible to play older Forza games through gamepass anymore. You could do that with FH4 as I did, but when they delisted FH4 it got removed from gamepass.
As my Xbox One disc drive doesn’t work anymore, that was the only way for me to play FH4 and FH5. As I previously downloaded them when my disc drive was still working.
So the only Forza games that can be played through is now, FH5 & FM8. @JamesJack509

Does it work when I had the game downloaded before Gamepass? I got FH4 on disc in late 2019. I got Gamepass Ultimate in Late 2023.

FH can be divided into operations that are essential for driving, such as accelerating, braking, and steering, and operations that are not directly necessary for driving, such as opening and closing the roof and turning the radio.
There are 32 setting items for these operations.
The Xbox controller has a limited number of buttons, so it is not possible to assign all operations. Moreover, since assignment to Forza Link is required, the freedom to configure the D-Pad is limited. This is obvious if you actually look at the key assignment screen in the configuration.
I wish I could assign controls to a USB keyboard connected to the Xbox that aren’t directly necessary for driving a car.

Probably they don’t want poor people to destroy them with a mouse. Otherwise I can’t understand them. In the same ETS 2, playing without a mouse is like depriving yourself of the pleasure of control.
