Personnally, I see the Featured tours as events aimed at regular players (people that spend a lot of time each week). I can understand that this players should be rewarded for their time.

I think the reason people feels ‘forced’ to play is because the reward is too high : a car unavailable once the event ends (as of now).

I think a car should reward players based on skill, not time.
If the reward of the Featured events is purely cosmetics, I think people won’t feel forced to do them. And it will be ok if the cosmetics isn’t available anymore for other players.

I disagree. Players can still be rewarded for their time if FOMO playlists designed to ensnare players into a mental loop of feeling like they need to play more (which may or may not be executive-bonus related…) were removed. For example, players earn credits for their time, which can be spent on cars (even if no FOMO).

I like and agree with the “FOMO” features that are implemented. That’s if we’re talking about things like the challenge hub that gives you a certain amount of time to complete events. I see it as giving players something different to log into and complete each week. I love it. Nearly every week when the challenges are updated, I’m sure to open up FM and complete them for a new simple challenge and spare credits. Forza Horizon has something similar with their season objectives.

Guys i want everyone to smash, destroy the blue VOTE button and if you want make a whole in the screen from tapping that works too. For the sake of us and the game, let us get all the previous and future reward cars be available all the time, both for free from tours (added also to Builder’s Cup to make permament and expand the library there) and in the Autoshow for credits (Just pumped up prices to make for a more exclusive feel and to be fair towards the free obtaining). I know we can do it, let us make sure we remove FOMO once and for all :flexed_biceps:

As it has been over a year since release, in other games in an effort to curb FOMO, this month’s special events from ALL previous years would also be included with this month’s new event for this year. Still means you’d have to play at a specific time to get a specific car, maintaining some FOMO, but also allowing anyone at anytime to jump into the game and still get their hands on everything eventually.

Guys is it just me or the Countach is STILL IN THE CHALLENGE HUB??? Also without the stupid RED TIMER OF DEATH??? Ain’t no way this is staying, right? Cause i know that normally until now when a new update releases, the previous Tour vanishes instantly or am i wrong?

The previous open tour finishes immediately, but the themed tour hangs around for a few more days. It will disappear eventually.

This FOMO based content delivery is just killing the game. This is one of the worst ways to deliver content. All other games just add new cars permanently to the game. Why not add the reward cars to the showroom once their reward period is over so we player can buy with credits?

This is just a terrible system, we cannot go anywhere or take leave from this game else we gonna miss the reward cars. This is a terribly bad user experience.

Please bring back the reward cars, stop the FOMO.

I don’t think anyone playing this game likes the FOMO. It’s probably the most complained about game feature after CarPG. And T10 is fully ignoring anything about FOMO removal.

Removing FOMO is also the highest voted in the category. So why haven’t they taken any action? Why vote these things up if nothing is going to happen. Why isn’t someone from T10 answering the questions we all want to know? All 409 players plus the unvoted hundreds players who haven’t taken the initiative to vote but have complained on other avenues such as reddit and discord.

I’m against FOMO.. I “try” the "fomo"cars when I complete the single-player races.. they are almost all useless because they are not competitive.. so I sell them…

Yeah btw last thing known as a response was from January in Reddit under one of the update notes stating “We are working on an update on this for you guys, thx for the patience in the meantime!”

Like thank you for the reassuring but i can make that up and lie you know? So as it is good that they are answering, up until now since then there has not been mentions in a new article at all.

They did say there will be content only updates up until May (i assume cause 20th Anni), so right now the Porsches were the last such update.

Let us see in May if there will be any news whatsoever, or perhaps even return of the cars? We about to find out, let us just be patient and see, not judge too fast is all.

(Also just quick on top of my head as idea on how to implement the reward cars permanently → we can let the Featured Tours just stay in the corresponding ‘Featured Tours’ Tab, makes sense right, and then the Open Tours should IMO better get a separate tab too, just ‘Open Tours’, so that both Tours don’t intervene with each other. That way both Featured and Open Tours can co-exist perma in the game, and this will make for more variety too :grin::ok_hand:

The Game Is Very Limited In Terms of Career Mode, I’m Hoping Theres Further Content/ Cups Added To The Game Like Motorsport 7.

I Know They Have Weekly Updates, Like Events But How Cool Would It Be If They Created a Kei Car Championship? Cars Like The Honda Beat, Suzuki Cappuccino and Daihatsu Copen etc.

I’ve Been Repeating Races With Different Cars and Upgrading/ Tuning. The Multiplayer Live Races are Brutal, It’s Not So Much Racing Rather Than Pure Destruction By Others Trying To Take You Out!

This is an open letter to T10:

After a long time I’ve tried FM 2023 again. In the meantime, I had the opprtunity to play GT 7 on a PS5 that a friend of mine lent me. Get me right: this isn’t about FM 2023 vs GT 7 and also GT 7 doesn’t everything right. But after playing GT 7 I have you to ask the question: why is FM 2023 a full price game?

It has still the crap live service content and lack of Builder’s Cup content, it has still not the option to turn off the bad working penalty system, it has still that boring menu and it has still no music/soundtrack.

On the other side ask for yourself: why the community is always voting Forza Motorsport 4 as the best part of the entire series?

There are still only recycled tracks that are announced as “new tracks” and still no city tracks.

Also in GT 7 the developers show their love to cars with a history, museum and so on. FM just hast nothing in the direction of car passion.

Before the launce of FM 2023 you’ve made a really big announcement about the Builder’s Cup and it’s content. “Build a car” for your career. So I’ve bought a Sauber C9 and I still don’t have any race in the Builder’s Cup to drive this car. Now where are the features/races you’ve announced before the launch of the game? It’S over one and a half years now the game is out already and it still feels like a full price early access game with the lack of content and just live service crap with a ultimatum to finish the content.

The biggest part of the community don’t want that FOMO-content and this was posted, mentioned and wished by the community how many times already?

So is the community important for you or not? It’s we, your community, that are paying you that you can do your work and can buy food. But I’ve you ignore the community or don’t response we feel like we’re being fooled.

So let me do a quick sneak peek into the future: that will lead to the conclusion to avoid the next Forza Motorsport and I’m sure this would not be the option you would choose to keep your jobs.

Maybe you’re working on features the community want but if you don’t communicate with us how should we know that?

Look at the devs of AC Evo: the community there is not satisfied with the EA of AC Evo. What did the devs do? They made a video with apologies and communicated how to do it better. In other words: they have the b… to do so.

Or Genki with TXR 2025: the really look what the community want and try to add as much as possible in the game.

Maybe it would have been better also to release FM 2023 as early access first, but I’m sure in the time that FM 2023 is out already AC Evo and TXR 2025 will be done and feature complete and the musch better games that FM 2023 is atm.

So listen to your community and communicate with us. Your “open letters” are not very satisfying and they read like that you don’t listen to us as necessary.

You’ve still got the (last?) chance to make this game much better.

If all of the previous tours were added permanently, and I could get all the reward cars again I would play this game more, but I don’t have time for FOMO. Switch off straight away
