i can’t stop drifting with no assists can’t stop wheel spin with thorttle control in the gt 86 just did my 4th race and i feel so noob
load a good tune. and be careful its not a drag or drift tune, i made that mistake once. if the car is too over powered on launch start in 2nd gear and see if the reduced acceleration is a good trade off for no wheel spin.
I feel the same. Some tracks i know i am good at on FM4 I cant get the corners right etc on FM5.
Turn off sim steering if you’re using it. Use normal instead.
I found this was quite helpful in FM5 whereas in FM4 sim steering with the controller wasn’t a big problem.
It takes some time to get used 2 it, dont worry
Same advice here. Just play more. When I first got the x1 and f5, I couldn’t control the car either. But like anything, you’ll get used to it. Try normal steering too as it helps a lot with the fishtailing.
Most of the tunes under the account “Tuned By Worm” are really good base tunes and exists for nearly every car!
Something that i ended up doing and a lot of others have is changing the controller deadzones under advanced settings, people change the steering, gas, brake, to all be 0 - 100. This is easily changed back to default so you might want to give it a shot. You would basically change the first 6 categories so 0-100 for steering, 0,100, for gas, 0-100 for decel braking,
how do you view tunes?
how do you view tunes?
In order too find tunes in FM5 you must be in the car you are looking to upgrade. Next you must enter the upgrade shop, press the snap button ( or what was the back button). It will bring up a list of tunes and if you press the RB you will find your own tunes. If you press the snap button it will bring up the search menu where you can select by the normal options.
Just keep driving and if your have issues set the dead zones and find some grip tunes that will help you getting started.
Keep your booger hook off the bang switch…don’t throttle in a corner either.
As stated earier, change your dead zones. Great help in brake and throttle control. It takes time to get used to though.
i think i’ll just stick to how it is and work on my skill truthfully i was awful at forza 4
Keep on trying, when you are used to it, you won’t play fm 4 any more.
like i said i’m not changing my dead zones.
Why do you want the game to be harder than it needs to be?
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD!!! NOT ONE PERSON IS BLAMING THE GAME!!!
FINALLY! Lol I am completely shocked there are still honest people in the gaming world.
No worries dude, I use TCS, Braking Line, Normal steering and manual only, and I am average at best.
When I first got it, it took some time to learn again. Totally different from Forza 4 and with the triggers being more sensitive, it takes more time to get use to. The 360 triggers were far better in my opinion just because they had more resistance in them. You’ll eventually get it.
I agree with this 100%. This is the main reason I think people are struggling with Forza 5 out of the box. The triggers are much too sensitive. This is why I think TCS gives such an advantage in this game compared to other Forzas.
