I played for a couple of hours this morning before having to go to work, It’s amazing! Question is I can see the JB and Drift cars as purchased but they don’t appear to be available in my Garage yet, Have not really had a good look to see where / when / If they may be available. Anyone else confirm or deny?

You will have to add each car from the car packs individually to your garage from the DLC Cars tab in the Autoshow section.
Plus you can only add them and access the autoshow later in the game, I’m assuming after the prologue
Is the prologue the six hour campaign intro that Forza you tubers where mentioning?
I was able to add them after i got my second house.
I was the same, as soon as I got the free VIP house at the top of the lake.
I have access to my 2nd house and can’t seem to add any of the DLC cars I got from the Ultimate Edition to my garage. No idea what I am missing here.
I got a bit confused about this as well. I didn’t get to download the cars. I thought. Then I remembered that, just like in Forza Horizon 3, you have to actually apply a design, do one yourself or simply choose a colour. Only after doing this you’ll be asked if it’s the car you want, then confirm and then receive the car. You may experience some other issues than mine, but let’s hope it’s this simple.
I’ve got a tip to make this process a bit easier/faster as well. Because the cars are free, all you need to do is sort the vehicles by value.
Go into “VIEW ALL” on the Autoshow-tab. Then you press X on the keyboard or Xbox controller to sort. Select to sort by value, then press LB twice* to get to the cars that are worth 0 CR+. At this price point, only the free, DLC-cars will be displayed. You have to change this for each car as you go back to your garage when receiving the car. Basically, it won’t remember you previously wanted cars worth 0+ CR,. However, it still beats going through the entire list. It’s only a few button presses, especially once you’ve done it a few times it’s very fast. In FH3, my save-file bugged out on me and I had to do this for a LOT of cars

I would’ve hoped this was one quality of life-thing they’d improve upon though. Also, I sincerely hope the way the game saves files have been improved upon. Anyone who knows?
*Not sure how to skip from 50K+ CR to 0 CR+ without going through all cars. On an Xbox controller, it’s LB.
