It's good to be back!

Only just got a copy of FM6 this week. I managed to get a couple of hours in last night. What an awesome game!
I started work on tuning and painting a couple of lobby cars already. It’s so good to be back on Forza Motorsport!

Welcome mate, glad you’ve made it back. I came back to it after being away since Forza3 then grabbed a copy of Forza 5 along with a Xbox One a couple of month before Forza 6 was released.

Got in early and got the Ultimate Edition for early access to the game.

I wasn’t disappointed, that’s for sure. So many complain that it’s not as good as say Forza 3 or Forza 4. But honestly. The game back then looked terrible compared to what it is now.

The features we now have are far superior to what was offered back then. You’ll love the rain events, and be scared silly doing the night Enduro at Le Mans… SeriouslY scary, honest.

Yes, there’s segments of those games that were great, and it’d be even better game if some of those found their way into forza 6 or 7. (If there’s to be a 7???) but I think gamers in general, self included, have been spoiled with what we get now.

The paint booth is awesome. Some of the creations coming out of there are mind boggling to say the least. Things that couldn’t be found in Either Forza 3 or 4.

However, I think the biggest things ppl miss or find difficult dealing with is the multiplayer aspects of the current game.

They need to be fixed. Otherwise they will loose gamers when they go to another racing game, many not come back.

But all that aside, glad to see you here.

Can you pop a few closer more detailed images please. And IF. You’re Hoi g to share them.

Make sure you list the car the livery is on, and any file name you might have given it.

Ppl will find it by going to the car, selecting it, then when the option comes to choose a livery, you simply hit the left button rear the left trigger on the left hand side of the big X on the controller.

Then do a simple search for the creator, and the livery comes up. … Bingo.

So if you want to share, just give us the details,

Looking forward to seeing some more work.

I spent 4hrs online last night in leagues and in the A class hoppers, I got to say it was an absolute dream. Perhaps I just got lucky but I had a great experience with the multiplayer. The 24 car grids are absolute chaos, brilliant fun. There was loads of contact at first until people found their “groove” but I thought everybody was pretty decent to be fair. Hope it wasn’t a one-off.

Yes, I’m a massive fan of the paint booth. Most of my stuff is embarrassing compared to the stuff you see winning the comps but I enjoy it. I always share everything and got quite a few hits on the old FM4 storefront. Thanks for the help, I haven’t got to grips with the sharing mechanic on FM6 yet. I’ll get you some good pics of these cars when they’re finished. They need a bit more work yet.

Totally agree. I’ll buy a new car to tune for leagues and say hmmm maybe I’ll just add a little something… Three hours later oh [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] I need to sleep , no racing tonight.

Buy. Paint. Repeat.

lol I know. It’s my favourite aspect of the FM games. I sometimes feel like FM is a paint shop sim with a racing option rather than the other way round lol.
No wonder I’m such a rubbish racer!

My first finished FM6 livery!

There’s some more detailed pics.
I’ve shared it but don’t really understand what that means tbf. It’s not like the old storefront.

Nicely done mate, and well done.

The Sharefront is basically simple enough.

  1. You save & Share the finished livery. It then is offered up as a NEW livery when ppl check the car out if they were going to say buy it, or want to test drive it etc. they get offered about 20 liveries to choose from.

The first few are from Turn 10 Top Pics, and anyone ghost you’ve Friended. Their liveries will show up etc.

So your friends will see the livery when they check out the car in their My Cars, or in the Buy a Cars section.

So 2): Then, when someone chooses your livery, you will get 500$ Credits for the Doenload ( when someone downloads your livery)

  1. you will get an additional 1000$ Credits if someone clicks the “Like” button in the area b neath the livery when it shows up in their My a Designs a Folder. Which is accessed in the Customise section, you’ll see the My Designs Folder when you go into the paint section.

  2. You will get an additional 100$ Credits every time someone “Uses” the livery in a race, No matter what type of race it is.

Under your My Designs you’ll see at list of liveries you have in the game, laid out across the screen. That’s where the stats are also listed under each livery. The number of Downloads, Likes and Uses are listed neatly.

The GAME pays you the Credits. So do not worry about downloading other ppl’s liveries, the credits do NOT come from your Bank.

I hope that helps a little?

If not, PM me and I’ll try?? To guide you through it if needed. But it’s simple and nought once you get the hang of it.

No mate. That makes perfect sense.
I’ve had some credits through already and it did give me a clue from the msg.
Cheers dude. Love FM6, did I mention that? Lol

Yep, exactly. This morning I thought; “I’ll get the subaru out and tune it to do some rivals.” That was four hours ago only just drove it. lol
I know It’s not an impressive design, but I just love doing simple race liveries on my cars. Seems wrong to race them without it.
