Change Microsoft account password and link it again it will link. I have tried it worked
Linked account and played fine - next day - asking me to link again, used same account i used that worked and it says āaccount already linkedā
Cannot get back on, tried deleting saved data and different account still nothing

Iām facing the same issue and wanted to share my case and the response I received from support.
My PSN account is: anjiji-gamedl@outlook.com
When I try to play Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, the game asks me to sign into a Microsoft account. But when I do, it says:
āYour PlayStation Network account is already linked to another Microsoft account.ā
The problem is: I donāt know which account itās referring to. Iāve only ever used anjiji-gamedl@outlook.com for both my PSN and Microsoft accounts, and expected the linking to work automatically ā but now I canāt play the game at all.
I reached out to Xbox and Forza support, and hereās the response I got:
āWeāre unable to determine the email address linked to the Microsoft account associated with your PlayStation account from our endā¦ You should contact Xbox/Microsoftā¦ā
And from Xbox support:
āWe donāt have access to see which Microsoft account is linked to your PlayStation account. Please contact PlayStation support.ā
So, Iām completely stuck ā each support team is pointing to the other, and I still canāt access a game I paid for.

I have considered all the solutions provided on different platforms, and this is my final verdict :
Delete the saved data of forza horizon 5 (it would be around 2-3 gb) and create a new microsoft account (I used my phone). Then launch the game on your ps5 and use the new account to sign in. It worked out for me, and I believe this comment will be the most recent one, so I hope anyone whoās reading this will benefit from the latest update.
(The above method is for āSign in requiredā issue. Do not mistake it with some other problem.)
Bug Info: I cannot find my Microsoft account that links with my PSN account. I bought FH5 on PlayStation5 last month and successfully played 20+ hours. After one week when I tried to play yesterday, I was required to relink the Microsoft account. Thatās the start of the nightmareā¦ After I inputted several Microsoft account that I can imagine, it all failed and reminded me that I have to input the correct Microsoft account that linked with my PSN account. Iām not sure if this is a bug or I really input the wrong account. So now I cannot play anymoreā¦

Attempted fixes: Iāve tried to support a ticket but there was no response on the webpage when I clicked the report buttonā¦ I also tried to contact PSN, Xbox, Microsoft for help, they all said I had to ask FH5 provider to solve.
Iām rally desperate now because I rally love this game and I bought the Deluxe version in PS5 at the first time and also bought some car tickets in game. So here Iād like to ask your support, which I really need right now.
Is that possible for you to reverse check which Microsoft account this PSN account is connected to? My PSN account is 463874860@qq.com

Recently as yesterday I bought the game in my ps5 and I am unable to play because the failure to link my microsoft account with psnetwork. I dont have an xbox so I dont have xboxlive account but for some reason when I try to link my ms account it resirect to xboxlive webpage and is a dead end. I want to resolve this or I will ask for refund.
Hello all. I have the deluxe edition of Forza Horizon 5 for the PS5, and I was having the sign-in issue where I would sign in with the Xbox account linked and all, but then it was telling me I needed an account to sign in still. Well, I changed my password for my Xbox account, and it actually signed me back in! I didnāt lose any progress and i can play the game again! Hope this helps!

ive been playing the game since it dropped on ps5 for a while now and one day i log on randomly says i need to link micrrosoft account even though i did that on day 1. So i try to re link the accounts and for a second it will try to load then it will say you may not proceed without being signed into a profile. I have tried everything and checked everything i have no bans or anything from what ie seen but nothin still seems to work

I am having the same issue, reached out to playstation, microsoft and neither have an answer
Literally canāt do anything on PS5 now. Linked account, been playing for a few days. Today I tried to boot it up and randomly started getting this error. My only two options are start game and accessibility/settings, and both get the same error. Never buying anything from this trash developer again.
I have the same issue, Start the game clicked on āStart Gameā, then the error message, it does not let me sign in to play.
So I just had this issue and this what I did to fix it
- Backup save data to the cloud
- Delete console saved data
- Reset my Microsoft password
- Logged out of my PlayStation account on my ps5 to where I had to put my password back in
- Launched forza relinked my Xbox account
- Got to where it said to pick nickname
- Closed application
- Reuploaded cloud save
- Launched game and I had all my stuff and the game worked fine
