Well that went from a nice detailed write up of whats wrong with the Civic to a wishlist pretty fast

They’re too lazy to fix even more important issues with the game so I doubt they’d be bothered about a front bumper and some seats in the wrong color. What I don’t get how they could have got something like that wrong if they brought in the actual car to scan like they claim to do.

I’m pretty sure Honda weren’t selling the Civic Type R in the US in 2003/4 so if the car was scanned in the US then it was possibly someone’s grey import or a car that someone in the US has rebuilt. These cars are over 12 years old now so it’s quite feasible that the car you see in game is what the studio had to work with. They wouldn’t accurately scan a car then arbitrarily change a bumper. Imagine a UK developer trying to source an old Camaro or Corvette to scan. Sure, they’d find one but I suspect there’d be some “errors”.

It’s not perfect but it’s decent enough, gotta expect some minor inaccuracies in the game. It’s only a Honda Civic anyway.
