As everyone knows, practice and qualifying are on multiplayer, yet there’s nothing for free play (offline single player). If is an option to turn practice and qualifying on for sinlge player, can someone let me know?

There is none no. It’s also not needed, because you can just play practice whenever you feel like it, because it’s FREE PLAY.
If you want to play practice before a race, just choose it in the FREE PLAY mode. You can switch back and forth between practice and race without any actual loadscreen if you are already on the track.
Qualifying would be nice, so that the bad Drivatars start at the back.
I do hope that practice and quali is in Freeplay when championship mode is added. (If we ever get it at all)

We were told pre release full motorsport weekend scenario options, I think that’s what is meant, being able to set up free practice, qualy then race in single player. Having a bit of free practice on your own then switching to a single player race you can’t qualify for doesn’t really feel immersive.
Be nice to have what was promised in the 1st place rather than make do.

You’re describing something that’s not like the practice mode in career. You’re describing running the race twice. And if there was a way to use previous race results to seed a grid, maybe that’d be a good enough replacement. But it’s not.

You can do practice in FREE MODE and no practice is not racing, so it’s NOT running the race twice.
I am probably in the minority here, that DOESN’T want ANY practice in FREE PLAY. Because it’s FREE PLAY and we can choose to do a practice session for HUNDREADS AND HUNDREADS of hours before a race if we feel like it.
What I want is to choose of wich position we start and not only limited to start from 3rd position like in career mode, no I want to start from the pole position.
Currently we can choose between random and PI sorted who is first in the line and that is not enough.

Practice only exists in Career, not in Free Play.
On a side note, if you want to start from pole, there’s a way to make it happen using groups. You have to set up the race to have two groups, turn on grid ordering per group, then set group 1 to have only 1 driver. You’ll be in group 1, every AI will be in group 2, and you’ll be first on the grid. It’s fiddly, but it should work.
It would be better if we had directly access to Challenge the Grid to pick our starting position (and I’d agree it should allow you to start from pole and second).
