Why is there a practice run in Career Mode and the ability to choose a starting position, but not in Free Play?
I would like to see a “practice run” and optional grid order selection added to "Free Play.
I think you should add “Practice Run” to the menu before the race starts, and players who don’t need it can ignore it, select “Start Race” and choose their grid position to start the race.
I sincerely hope that the developers will make this game a great one, with a wide range of playability and a high level of perfection.
I hope and expect and support Forza Motorsport to be glorious and prosperous.

The career mode and practice was a complete slapdash afterthought. So was freeplay, they just didnt bother doing any of the actual work for either to flesh them out. They dont even give you track distances in freeplay. Nor the ability to qualify like multiplayer.
The game is objectively underbaked.

Every single area of the game is missing at least one crucial feature. Most of them are easy to include. Many of them are even in the game elsewhere! So obvious that there was almost no testing involved, and the game was just shoved out the door the second the production build was playable.

Most of the time i just go to rivals and get used to the track and the car and then I go to the race, but the option to have a full race weekend with practice and the race in one spot would be great.
