International Trade mode and exotic car collecting

Dear Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games,

I am a dedicated player of Forza Horizon 5 since its launch. I have greatly enjoyed the experience and level of detail the game offers, and I would like to present a proposal that could further enrich the gameplay and immersion for the player community.

Proposal: Exotic Vehicle Export System

• Context and Justification: One of the most attractive aspects of Forza Horizon is the rare and exotic vehicles awarded through events and competition banners, such as cars from brands like Pagani, Koenigsegg, and Ferrari, among others. These cars, while limited, add significant value and exclusivity to the game. My proposal is to implement an export system for vehicles, allowing players to acquire exclusive cars from different parts of the world, enhancing exclusivity and authenticity within the game.

• Proposed System Details:

• International Vehicle Export: Players would be able to export rare vehicles to their in-game location through a system that simulates the international trade of cars, enabling the purchase of exclusive vehicles that are not available on the local market.

• Export Taxes and Fees: Similar to real life, players would have to pay export/import taxes to bring the cars to their location on the map. This would create a more complex economic system and give the cars obtained more value.

• Exotic Vehicles in Competition Banners: In addition to the vehicles that can be earned through competition banners, players could also acquire additional vehicles via this export mechanic, creating extra competition to obtain rare and exclusive cars.

• Gameplay Impact:

• The vehicle export system would add a layer of strategy to the game, as players would have to plan how to acquire the most exotic and expensive cars through this global trading system.

• This system could also incorporate the exportation of limited-edition vehicles, which could be available for limited-time events or as special rewards for completing international challenges, thus increasing interest and competitiveness among players.

• Benefits for the Community:

• Players would be incentivized to participate in global events and high-level competitions to earn rare vehicles, fostering interaction between different player communities around the world.

• The international auctions or global market system could lead to a new form of in-game economy, where vehicles have a unique value depending on their origin, enriching the experience of collection and customization.

Conclusion: I believe this proposal could be a significant addition to the Forza Horizon series, aligning perfectly with the passion for details and authenticity that defines the franchise. An exotic vehicle export system, including rare and exclusive cars, would provide a new layer of realism, competition, and strategy, while remaining true to the essence of the game.

I am willing to provide further details and discuss this proposal with you if needed. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope this idea will be taken into account for future Forza Horizon releases.

What local market? Do you mean the players irl location?

Seems very convoluted to get a car.

The idea is to integrate prototype cars inspired by real vehicles, but with enhanced performance, higher speed, and more exclusivity. These vehicles would be relatively difficult to obtain.

A tab similar to the auctions would be created, but with the purpose of importing exclusive vehicles. This tab would be dedicated solely to these special cars, which would not be available in the regular market.
The importation of these vehicles would come with an additional cost (similar to the “backstage tickets” system), allowing players to access these exclusive cars. This cost could be a special currency or resource that makes importing these cars a challenge, but achievable.
The most important aspect is that these vehicles would not be tradable within the game. This would give them a unique value, as the players who obtain them would be the only ones possessing them. This would create a sense of exclusivity and prestige for those who manage to import these vehicles.

The idea behind this proposal is to offer something that isn’t too easy to get, but at the same time is accessible to players who are looking for a new goal within the game.
