Indy car money

Does the Indy car glitch were you put 20 laps on Indianapolis oval and get 110000 still work please reply  .

Is that a glitch?
I did a couple of 50lap runs on indy oval with xp accerator and got seven level ups, 7x 70k (payout per level for VIPs) plus with all assists off and drivatar on unbeatable plus high affinity level some +100k, ending up with around 600k per run
But I never knew that is supposed to be glitchā€¦ lol - 600k for 50laps is still more than 110k for 20laps

Thanks GebrPouz, just wondering because Iā€™m saving up for a Indy car to do that so I wanted to know if it worked.

I really dont understand why people feel the need to do this. Why not jump on rivals ive had races where I level up 4 or 5 times after a few attempts and it makes you a better driver then just driving in circles for ages.

O yes I do rivals as well thats not an issue, but when you are doing 50laps with lets say a indy car you do it if i remember correctly in under 34minutes,
i have not compared how many times I have leveled up when doing rivals and in how much time but if I remember correctly even if I jumped in a couple of laps from a very low LB position to a top1000 or even a couple of top100s I didnt level up four or five laps in one attempt,
And besides why not combine the two, you can do 50laps while climbing in the LB on indy oval and bossting your affinity - you dont need to like it and dont need to look down upon it - I guess everyone his or her own -
you may find it boring, but sometimes I want to do something different where I dont need to concentrate that much, mainly late in the night being tired and all when hotlapping more complicated tracks can be more difficult than running for a hafl an hour a easy indy track while still getting a buch of credits before going to sleep

+1

I play a lot of Rivals in Cclass and now have 11 mil in the bank and all the cars i need for Single player. Why burn time driving that god awful oval ?

I finished the career, do lots of rivals, and every now and then I do some indy ovals and have earned 55million and have all the cars I need, why burn time looking down upon people or things they do only because you find it awful

looking down ? ā€¦ smells like internet in here !

My OPINION is that Iā€™s rather poke my eyes with sticks than run 50 laps of an oval. Using the term of phrase god awful is simply my OPINION and in no way looking down on anyone.

It has been pointed out that this method produces the best payout for time in game so good luck with that. What this method doesnā€™t do is develop your skills in any way shape or form. If you accept the lower payout in rivals you will also develop better understanding of each circuit and class and become a better player through the grind.

Duuh, this is internet, your are posting on the internet claiming that this smells like internet, smelling yourself probablyā€¦

Well first you posted +1 to someone saying that you dont understand it, plus you said that it is awful, and that is a time burn
and now you say it is just your opinion: so to recap you dont understand why someone is doing something so awful, admitting that it is just your opinion,
So what is you dont understand? that someone has a different opinion??? That someone is doing something you find awful? or a time burn? If everyone has the right to an opinion, what is it you dont understand? That someone has a different opinion than you? That is indeed looking down on some other opinion than yoursā€¦

And as to the best payout, no one was asking for the best payout method, the OP asked whether this method still works thats it, I did not challenge your opinion or your right to opinion, I just said that why cant someone use this method only because you find it awful? The OP assumingly knows very well that it is a boring grind, no one asked whether it is boring, the question was does it work or not

Plus no one claimed that it develops your skills, dont need to make redundant claims,
As I claimed I do rivals as well, so I dont know who you are trying to give a lesson to, next time try telling me something I dont know

no quiet a few people have compared it to rivals saying its a better payout. and lets face it that is the only reason its done no oneā€™s doing it for the fun of it they do it for easy money its why its always been done.
i personally did try it on FM4 and found the reward was nothing compared to the boringness of it. so i jumped on rivals and IMO became a better racer and earned more money and had a lot more fun. now in a hour or two on rivals i can earn between 1-2 mill

id go with his opinion (and this is just my opinion) is i dont understand why people are doing it its just a time burn it awful people need to resort to this instead of putting real effort in the game.

Recap: OP asks does the indy method work? I say yes. You and the other guy started the comparing, while no one asked for it. The fact that others started claiming that indy is better. But that does not change the fact that anyone asked for it. And if OP wants to earn money this way, its his decision.
I did not claim that rivals is not as good as, better or worse than OPs method. Its better for skills, its better for LB its good for credits. As I said already 3x I do rivals mayself. But no one asked for itā€¦ I claimed you dont need to say that you dont understand itā€¦ Its everyones freedom of opinion. If they like grinding indy you dont need to like, but they can. What is it you dont undertand about it as you claimed in your first post? That they have a different opinion, a different taste? Different things they like?

sorry did i miss the bit where anyone flat out said donā€™t do that? no i said i donā€™t understand which i truly donā€™t it baffles me why people would choose to do this rather than put some work into doing the game properly. (just before anyone says who said its not he proper way of doing the game? when you start a thread with does the glitch still work the OP does.)

You have to remember some people are not that good of a driver so rivals is not a viable option. I wish people would realize this before just always saying ā€œgo do rivalsā€

i thought the same when i first started rivals but as i said in my post it makes you a better driver. constantly pushing yourself watching the ghost your racing to see where your going wrong. ive gone from being around 10 - 15k up to being in the top 100 - 200 since forza 4.

no you dont get any bonus credits but you will still get xp so if you put some time in trying to beat the rival you will still level up a few times.

I havenā€™t done Rivals on FM5 yet, but in previous games most players donā€™t post fast enough times for big winnings in Rivals. In FM4, you could typically post lap times ahead of 98% of players but in Rivals you could run several laps just to beat the guy ahead of you for 2,500 or maybe 10,000 CR. You could run a few laps of an actual race and earn more than that. Rivals is only lucrative for the top of the top players.

because they dont realize free pays as much or more per lap than rivals. they assume if people arenā€™t doing it the way they did they are doing it wrong. i lapped a guy in multi on lagunaā€¦and he wanted to give me advice on going faster by not breaking on the left after the corkscrew because he didnā€™t, he just coasted thru it. maybe when you are going that much slower you can. i still break so i dont waste the next two minuets getting back to the track.

some also say to race multi to level up faster and earn more money. ā€œyou level up every two races and get that bonusā€. by the time you log into multi and wait for the race to finish, track voting, car picking, the countdown timer, track loading, finish the race, wait for others to finish the race, wait for others to hit the continue button so the intermission timer starts rinse and repeat you get two r class races in about half an hour. in that same time i can do 50 laps on indy, get paid over 100k in winnings then level up 4 times getting those bonuses. (the inbeatable bonus is higher than multi bonus) by 210 mph being what you slow down to and no wait time i can earn 300k in the same time i can make 60k online so 5X as much.

if you run flat out as fast as you can you wont be able to race rivals for that class and track again. well you can but you wont make any credits because you only get paid after you beat the rival. if you did you best time last timeā€¦no soup for you. free pay you get paid for everytime against the same drivitars, not better drivitars until you really cant beat them making it a waste of time. i did rivals with the indy car for 50 laps. i am in 298th place. i didnā€™t make as much per lap as i did in freeplay if i remember right. i am about 1/2 a second behind 1st placeā€¦and i dont think i am going to catch them. from now on iā€™ll make much more in freeplay than rivals for x class on the oval. and if i do rivals again and can catch unbeatenchrisā€¦what then? if i am #1 i cant really beat anybody else. rivals wont pay.

it works but its boring you get more credits in rivals if your good

i was #298 in rivals for the same car, same track, same everything except you cant set drivatar levels to unbeatable in rivals. thats better than good, thats less than 1/2 a second behind #1. i made more in freeplay over all and per lap. and in free play you can race against up to 16 cars, not jut one ghost. why is racing multiple laps on the same track more boring against 16 cars than 1 ghost?

I have removed the word ā€˜glitchā€™ from the thread title as it this is in no way a glitch. Please be more careful about the terms you use in the future.

Just a quick question, I want to know if the method of getting cr still works, where you take an f1 car around Indianapolis w/ all assists off still works. Just want to make sure before I spend $2mil on a car that might not even be that useful. thanks!
