Hello, Not sure if its just me but i am finding it more and more difficult to join a Lobby for Multiplayer racing or the Leagues.
To get round this i have been coming out of the forza game and have to start up another totally different xbox game something like Tetris ! I then come out of Tetris and go back to Forza this normally lets me into the lobby, am i doing something wrong as its getting on my nerves.
Many Thanks
You play and you learn, and that’s been my experience ! It depends on the division you’re in. Most of the community racers reside in the Enthusiast League and as people are promoted out of there to another skill level division racing participants begin to thin out, for as they say, the air up there is rarefied!!! In party chat with racing friends from various divisions (Pinnacle, Elite, Professional) the Pinnacle guy was complaining about never being able to join his lobby cause of too few players. If you’re Elite, there’s more of a chance of you hitting up someone each time to join the lobby. And I don’t think that issue exists in Professional. The Porsche League is even worse with so few people purchasing the pack you can expect very few players for any given skill division. So therein lies the rub, as they say.
Lol the most I have found in there was one person. After the first week of it it died. Also not sure if you mean the hoppers because unless they just added one this week there are no Porsche leagues.
Also regarding the original topic, I have had this trouble too I think it’s just a combo of Xbox live and forza severs being messed up the whole weekend.
There have been Porsche leagues since the Porsche pack came out. They have been hard to get into, because of so few players and because there was a problem accessing the most recent Porsche league. In fact Triton changed it to something else while he was troubleshooting the problem.
As for the OP. Are you talking about connecting to the lobbies in multiplayer? If so, have you tried this:
1: Shut everything down and unplug from the power outlet.
2: unplug you internet router/modem from the power outlet and leave unplugged for 2 minutes.
3: plug in your internet router/modem and allow it to fully cycle to be ready.
4: plug in your Xbox and test your internet and multiplayer connection (in settings)
5: if both tests say it’s good to go, you should be able to connect to multiplayer lobbies, as long as there is one available. (As mentioned above, some divisions, leagues and hoppers just don’t have anyone playing at times).
If this doesn’t work, contact XBOX Live support and they may be able to work you through some troubleshooting procedures and help you get it fixed.
It’s happened to me a few times, and this always worked for me.
I hope this was helpful.
Peace
I regularly have technical issues getting into a lobby. Go to the Xbox home screen, “quit” Forza, then enter Forza. Probably similar to what you are doing by going into a different game, just with less steps. Not sure why it happens, but quitting always works for me, and I usually do it proactively now (even before I enter Forza, I quit it).
Absolutely! I forgot about this. I had trouble with Fallout 4 early in, and found out about quitting the game properly. I just make sure to always quit the game, every time, properly. I also do the reset I mentioned above, almost every day, just to prevent any frustration.
See, there is always something to learn or get a refresher on. Thanks z28!
Peace
Z28c5 is correct as that is what I also do and again as he said I do it now as a habit Everytime I want to play online. This seems to work nearly every time for me.
You are taking the long route. Just push the home button. Push the right menu button. Quit game. Then restart Forza 6. This should do the trick. If not, it is server problems.
I had some of the same issues, however, there was a lobby open because my friends were in it. While the advice given is good, try checking your blocked list. You may have blocked someone in Forza or another game. If this is the case, you will not be able to join the lobby. This was my issue and once I unblocked the person, I was in the lobby with my friends.
Thanks for your help everyone, problem is resolved with the Quit option I didn’t know it even existed, cheers !
