Troubles with joining league lobbies

Hey guys,

Ive been quite into this new leagues feature online, really lets me challenge myself against people the same level as me. I find satisfaction in knowing exactly how good or bad I am in a lobby when we’re all putting 110% effort in. So props to turn 10 for developing the feature.

I do have an issue though.

It seems as though as the weeks have passed I’ve found it more and more difficult to join the lobbies, and thus havent been able to compete. I have had luck after the xbox has had a full reboot, but if I go to join the lobby at any other time other than post reboot. I get the error of “failed to get match server list”. Ive checked my internet settings and I’ve got okay ping, dl speed and ul speed. My Nat type is open also.

Any idea as to what the deal is? Has anyone else come across this issue (specifically in Australia)? As its kinda frustrating as I find these league lobbies more fun than the 24 car demo derbies at the start of the hopper lobbies.

Thanks

Hi mate,

Yes, I’ve also had this problem since game launch. In addition to the error message you mentioned, I also get “Game Server allocation failed” and a few hours ago I received a message indicating the multiplayer session was not available (at all).

I finally managed to get into the Ghost lobby for the last half an hour before it closed but was only racing with one other person.

It seems to take a long time to actually get placed into a lobby, but like you my NAT is open and internet connection seems fine/normal. (I’m from Adelaide).

I share your frustration, looks like our League payouts will be low this week!

Hopefully things will improve.

Ps. I just noticed there is a sticky in the Forza 6 Support thread regarding multiplayer connection issues - you may want to check that out Exquisite.

Don’t feel bad, I’ve been getting the same error since the early play period opened. I think I’ve managed about 30 minutes of online play.

I’m on the verge of asking for a refund.
