Great observation mate!. The RPMS are supposed to be higher pitched and match the race upgrades made to engines in those cars. Really need to fix that! It’s crazy how monotonous the cars sound without them.

If you compare the rev limiter system between Forza & CarX, it’s completely different. In Forza, the RPM doesn’t really build up, as soon as you pressed down on the gas full throttle, it will immediately reach redline. If you look at CarX though, the RPM will actually take time, and slowly buildup until it reaches redline, and it makes it more realistic, just like how cars rev in real life. I personally think Forza should take this into consideration!

Very Interesting, It would also be amazing if forza gave us more legit rev bombing like from the lamborghini super trofeo & SCV12 on future cars for FH5!

Yeah the rpms definitely need to get fixed, cause they are so far off sometimes bro.

You make good point bro.

I hope of all cars I listed that they increase the honda limiters cus thats the #1 cars they got wrong that get on my nerves the most :frowning:

I just discovered today that they secretly fixed the race exhaust bug with the 2006 audi RS4 IDK what day this was exactly but I remember months back that the race exhaust had no sound, you could only hear the air filter but this has me excited because that proves they are looking into the audio and hopefully we can make some more changes by showing this topic some more love! :ok_hand::clap::clap::clap:

I found another car in the game today and was actually surprised but its the ford Shelby GT350, IRL its a flat plane crank V8 that revs very high and in motorsport 7 (which was notoriously the game that had the worst audio next to horizon 4) actually got the sound spot on.

I keep noticing the sounds being off.

Currently the engine sound range is dialed wrong.

The audio which is heard from idle to rev limit, should be set from idle to redline. The engine sounds can increase a lot further than the rev limiter by money shifting from 5th to 1st or so at high speed. So that’s not the problem.

I bet if the devs re-calibrated the audio from idle to redline we would have a nice over-rev sound in the red zone, something we don’t have now.

exactly! when you money shift the honda civics its actually accurate to IRL but its still too low with race cams. Motorsport 8 (2023) got it perfect!

Yup, both GMCs sound very much like a diesel but I do love that they have the raspy Bronco race exhaust option hopefully they crank it WAYYY up but we’ll see.
