First of all, I am a huge fan of the Forza franchise. I have played since the first one was released. I love the game and usually things are great about this game but one thing. The Mitsubishi Evo X. I can do every upgrade on this car and it makes only 532hp. When I do the turbo upgrade the power doesn’t increase but makes the car laggy on the turbo spool. I personally own this car and understand the dynamics and this is a long shot away from anything close to this car. Forza horizon you could take this car to 750+. After that came Forza 5 and the car lost performance. Now it seems it has been a copy and paste in the last 3 games. Each have been exact the same. Can we get a better band of power? I would like to take this car higher for drag purposes. It is a disappointment because I had higher expectations and was expecting a fix in Forza 6. Thanks Forza team if you can help out a fellow car enthusiast

There have been complaints about this in Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 and in the last 2 years this error has seemingly been ignored. The amount of communication regarding this bug has been non existent.
It doesn’t seem like it would be a hard to fix bug but again, I can’t speak to it’s complexity. The car shouldn’t be hard to get their hands on if need be so who knows. Communication would be nice. A fix doesn’t seem likely.
Use a Subaru instead
You guys are missing the obvious. It could be a licensing issue.
Mitsubishi want to sell the car to people who love performance, but nasty MR EPA man, says it can’t allow a fancy hatchback to have 1500BHP cos it’s simply unnecessary. So it has to be restricted for various countries regulations about kilowatt output per carbon output or some ridiculous equation. So Mitsubishi not wanting to be seen in A bad light, then say to Turn 10, “Yes you can have the Evo X in your game, but at no more than 550HP” or similar. So Turn 10 get a popular car for us to use (I love the Evo’s), but they have to restrict it. Mitsubishi get their car shown off to many gamers, while nasty MR EPA man doesn’t see them advertising astronomical upgrades that would break 600 emissions laws.
Yes, i’ve exaggerated the points fof illustrative purposes, but I think it’s the most likely answer. There are several cars that have had some weird specs in the past, and not just in Forza. But I think it’s just as likely licensing as it is a bug.
Unless they fix it, and suddenly it jumps up the PI scale, we’ll never know.
Haha I like that. While this could be a reason turn10 not even addressing the issue is what the problem is
I understand that might be an issue but then again the Evo is done after this year. I don’t see why Mitsubishi would do this. Mitsubishi loses a lot of money on this car due to the costs to build and not making any on sells. Mitsubishi actually sold the most expensive and highest hp car out of any other 4 cyl. Especially when you can make the 8 and 9 a lot more quicker. I think the Evo X deserves a bit more lol. My assumptions is some coding issues.
They’re not really advertising upgrades, they’re really just explaining what could be done to increase power. It’s not like they ever go into specifics regarding who makes the parts that you’re putting onto your car. Plus, I don’t think the EPA would have a problem with the original manufacture about what consumers do to their cars. Maybe with the companies who make these parts, but again, they’re not listed in the game.
The representation of the C5 corvette is also wrong. At least one of the exhaust pipes should be loose, flopping around, slamming into the ground and the rear bumper.
whack
clang
skronk
Fixed it.
LOL, I never noticed this, since I’ve only driven it stock. That’s pretty dumb.
If it’s intentional, as Mitchy suggested, why didn’t they just take out the turbo “upgrades” completely if they don’t want people to upgrade the turbo? Why would they make them into downgrades?
Post this in the support section, with a detailed and well-organized description of the problem and exactly how and when it happens. That way, it will be entered into T10’s feedback collection program.
Great idea. I will have to do that. This is my first post ever on here. I had my fingers crossed on some adjustment for 6
You can’t seriously believe this, can you? I mean, while it’s a valid point and a valid reason if it were the case then why not simply omit the turbo upgrade on the Evo X? Right? they do it already - the car has no rotor upgrade because it doesn’t have a rotary engine, it has no supercharger upgrade since there is no supercharger, so if the licensing does not allow for a turbocharger upgrade why make the turbocharger upgrade visible and selectable. The fact that the upgrade is there, you can use it, and it only adds weight and Performance Index but does not add power points to it being a programming error.
If only this actually worked. For one, I think it’s been posted in the support section numerous times already. Two, it’s been an issue that has been around for around 5 years now at the very least, so to operate under the notion that Turn10 somehow does not know about it is naive at best. Turn10 know it’s a problem. Turn10 simply chose not to do anything about it and they have a communication problem stemming again, about 5 years back…
They have a feedback collection program? So that means every thread and response posted here gets read?
If anyone from the dev team is reading this, please fix the Evo X turbo, and the Esprit V8’s headlight beams.
