I’d like to suggest that the Oreca 07, currently available as a paid DLC, be added to the base car lineup in Forza Motorsport. This would improve the racing experience for all players, especially in endurance racing and multiplayer modes.

Why should the Oreca 07 be part of the base game?

This would be the reason to give the Oreca 07 for free to all players. It is the car for Forza P2, just look at the ELMS entry list, one of the biggest LMP2 championships out there. It only features the Oreca 07. That is why it needs to be part of the game, properly represented as distinct from the other cars in the Forza P2 class, and featured in its own spec series.

Did miss something? Isn’t the Oreca 07 already in game? I can purchase it right from the Car Show. In fact I have one in my garage. Or am I missing something here?

The 2017 Oreca #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 07 is not part of the base game in Forza Motorsport. It is available to players who have purchased the Forza Motorsport Car Pass or acquired the car separately as downloadable content (DLC). The Car Pass expands your garage with 31 additional cars, including the Oreca 07. As of now, the Car Pass is priced at $29.99 on Steam (store.steampowered.com). Alternatively, the Oreca 07 can be purchased individually for $2.99 (store.steampowered.com).

If you have this car in your garage, it means you’ve either acquired the Car Pass or purchased the Oreca 07 separately. Making the Oreca 07 part of the base game could turn it into a spec class for LMP2, just as I mentioned in my post. The biggest LMP2 championship only features the Oreca 07, so it would be an ideal choice for that category
