It’s not a big problem, but as an actual owner of the car, it’s been bothering me since Forza 5.
The RPM gauge in the real life Toyota Celica GT-S/SS-II does NOT redline to 7,000rpm, that would be the GT/SS-I. It’s at 7900-8,000RPM. Even the in-game telemetry, the car’s rev limit is at 8300rpm. I think Turn 10 were modeling the dash, they didn’t even check to see if they were inside the SS-II and not the SS-I. There’s a different engine in each of the versions! I let it slide in FM5, but carrying over in FM6 makes me think Turn 10 weren’t as detailed as they claim to be.
I’m sure there are plenty of other cars in the game that probably had a mistake in the details, but this one was personal to me.
