Following my recent call-out for you to submit your best liveries for the article, I have a collection of visual treats for you all to enjoy. Some of the paints you’ve been creating are truly remarkable and just serve to illustrate the vast depths of talented people we’re lucky to have out there in the Forza community.
I just want to extend my personal thanks to all of who submitted something for consideration for today’s article, the quality was very high (as usual) and if you’re one of those whose livery didn’t get included this time, please don’t fret, as you can still continue to put forward your designs by posting them in this thread.

I’d also like to extend you all an invite to get involved in future editions of In Focus by submitting to me in this thread your favorite liveries from either Forza Horizon 2 or Forza Motorsport 5 that you’ve painted, along with some words about your creation. I’ll then be picking my favorites from the thread for inclusion in next weeks article on both the website and the Forza Hub on the Xbox One dash!

I created this replica livery mainly in tribute to Jack Roush who designed and produced this limited production Mustang in 2008. Jack designed this two purpose pony for the daily driver as well as the weekend track day enthusiast. I was inspired to create this for Forza Horizon 2 so players could enjoy the rumble and power of American muscle in the streets of Europe. The 2008 Roush 427R Trak Pak Mustang is truly a milestone for American muscle.

After years of sticking to replica liveries I finally decided it was time to try my hands at a fantasy livery and as I had just finished rewatching the first season of rick and morty it seemed like the obvious choice, and if im honest it looked really simple (famous last words lol). It turned out to be a lot more awkward then I expected as none of the shapes were smooth so insted of a nice simple circle for a face or eye it ended up being a lot of seperate shapes to make it look crudely drawn.
As akward as it was I must have enjoyed it as I spent a full day in the paint booth and managed to get it all done in a about 6 hours

Whether you like cruising, drifting, racing or just messing around, the ‘PTG’ Car Club is suited for everyone. PTG have been around since Forza 4 and we are a friendly group of people who provide painted and tuned cars for the community. Now on Horizon 2, Tuners like Beetfarmer89, PTG Curtis and PTG Mesasphere who provide a range of racing and drift tunes a lot of which we happily open source to the users of our forum. We then have our painters, PTG Coops, TheFishE77, PTG Curtis & PTG Mesasphere (his missus anyway) who produce some of the best paints around. They range from Drift Replica’s to Fantasy paints, there is something for everyone.
We also host a variety of competitions ranging from photocomps to hotlap challenges on our forum/club. Members which are now numbering over 1000 and growing, feel check us out and get involved Here

Rally cars rule in Horizon and the RS200 is a bit of a bruiser, so as soon as I bought the car i knew the Belga Livery was the one I had to get done! Days of locating all the source pics and making the logos this was the final outcome. Hopefully one for all the Rally fans blasting around the wilderness of Horizon!

Livery - Roll-Up Roll-Up!
Ive been part of the Halloween bash for the past few years and whilst loving vector based graphics this years design was no different. A few years ago I helped Sinnermac with some circus font on the rather scary looking Roll-up Roll-up Acura RSX that featured a very twisted clown, as an ode to the past the Clown/Circus theme had to be redone. After finding a typically freaky design the rest of the design flowed from there into what you see (or don’t see if your scared of clowns!) Whilst primarily its on the Fairlady there is also a BMW 1M version but message me if you have another car for the design and I will see what can be done.
I saw someone mention the Deadmau5 Purrari in last week’s post and decided I’d throw this up.

Car - Ferrari 458 Italia and Ferrari Challenge Stradale

As soon as I got the Ferrari Challenge Stradale in Forza Horizon 2 this was the first thing I had to do to it. I ended up doing it to the 458 as well so it was closer to the real car. I’ve tried to do it as close as possible to the original. The stars aren’t in the exact same place, but I tried to space them enough to make it look decent. The right side does have the nyan version of his cat as his car did as well so it isn’t just a mirror image of the left.
The 2012 Scion tC is not a car I have seen used much if at all in FM5. While proving popular to young drivers in the USA in real life as far as the Forza player goes the car gets little use. Being a fan of Formula Drift and following each Round watching the Live Stream there was a particular car that stood out. The pin point accuracy and determination to win from the Swedish Driver Fredric Aasbo goes hand in hand with his aggressively menacing Scion tC with a full rocket bunny body kit upgrade. This called for a FM5 paint.
The first task I undertook was to “build” a body kit on the car in an attempt to reshape the stock 2012 Scion tC with newly shaped wheel arches, vents, Hood mounted exhausts & exposed turbo vent and front grills. Then to follow, the livery and sponsor & manufacturer logos. I made a full, accurate replica (as of Round 5 of FD) of Fredric Aasbo’s 2014 Formula Drift Scion tC. The paint completely changes the look of this car, it now looks, aggressive and menacing with a RWD conversion and Drift tune to make it a worthy Drift car.
This is my first Halloween Bash entry. I’ve always intended to do some paints for the contest, in previous years, but have never actually done it.
I’m pretty happy with my first one.
The Haunted House scene on the side all came together really well. The house took around 4 hours to make, with the background another hour on top of that.
I tried to capture the atmosphere as best as I could.
Knowing that there would be a lot of awesome paints, I took some time to make sure I created a unique design.
The wolf on the bonnet is something I’m quite proud of. The sinister look in his eyes was hard to capture. It took me around 2 hours to do, using gradient vinyl’s to create a fur effect, to show the wolf coming out of the darkness.

Been replicating Time attack cars and well Widebody cars for the last 3 years and love it, just got the Xbox One when it was released here in Denmark a few months ago so a bit behind, so one of my first liveries and im glad how it came out…
Huge fan of the Time attack series in the states, and some even name me Mr. Time attack lool, and love the widebody scene, love how you can change the looks of a car totally.
On this one ive added the Varis Kit, front and rear fenders, and the Skirts, those i just love, looks so real
