Hello My Gamer tag is AARandles this is my Nissian 370z Nos Drift Livery that I would like to be featured on in focus it is the first ever race paint job I have ever done in my forza history the reason I did the the nos drift 370z is because it the only drift car I have ever actualy touched in real life and have sat in it holds a very special place in my racing heart lol it took me 3 days to make and I drift this car every day on horizon 2. I’m just here to with a question about the design system in FH2 as I’ve never done anything but recolour cars.
Is there a way to keep manufacturer decals but change the main colour? (eg: Mustang Boss 302 keeping the black decals but with your own colour choice)
I’ve tried googling it but with not much luck as to the subject, is this a possibility as I managed to keep the white stripes for the GT500 but I’ve got it in matte carbon fibre. Was that just a glitch?
That might have been a glitch but The thing with Forza or might I add all Forza’s is when recoloring cars it will get rid of the Decals and Vinyls from the manufacturer.To keep the look you will have to apply the Decals yourself, if you don’t want to post a thread fro some requests I am sure the Spray Gun Collective would be more than happy to do it for you.

The Design that I envisioned for the Raptor was quick, I wanted to be Inspired by modern day Rally/Trophy Trucks and put together a Paint that would suit my Club perfectly. I feel I have Succeeded since it is probably my most Popular Design here on the Race Paint booth Forums. I offer this design forward to The In focus.

Another replica, this time of a harder to find (was possibly just a poster car and never raced) Computech GT2 stingray.
I have a few more but won’t bore you with them yet, finishing touches to come on those
I feel that I’m not the only one who enjoys painting a vehicle more than actually racing it.
I’ve got bit of thing for retro rally’s (90’s and back) and love everything about them from the metallic blue of Colin Mcrae’s 555 world rally team WRX to the sharp reds of Tommi Makinen’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. However the moment I found the MG Metro 6R4 I knew exactly what job I was doing on it!
This is a couple of links to my Ford Capri wearing Mampe Halb-und-Halb livery as seen on the Zakspeed Gruppe-5 race Capri driven by Hans Heyer back in the '80s
The only emission I’ve made from this replica is the Zakspeed logos, as the Mk-1 3000GT Capri featured in the game in no way resembles the massive Mk-3 based DRM monster, this is designed to be what the Mk-1 WOULD have looked like with the Mampe livery.
The Zakspeed car in Mampe colours is like a part of me in many ways, they were racing in the year I was born, and when I grew older the Mampe Zakspeed was my first ever Airfix kit. I tried to build a replica from my first car (a Mk-3 Capri 1.6) but at the tender age of 15 my ambitions far exceeded my abilities at the time. As I’ve grown up around cars the Zakspeed represents a lot about my personality, it’s wide, loud, low, and generates an absurd amount of power out of a tiny engine. Now I have started a business building custom cars, and to build a PROPER replica of a Zakspeed Gruppe-5 race Capri in Mampe colours is the one project which I aspire to the most, and what drives me to make the money to do it. So really making this replica on Forza was not even an option for me, it was an inevitability.
This is my third favourite car in the world and one of the best to look at. I’m Praying the BMW Z8 will come in because if it does, all my pictures will be fo that.

This is not my first attempt at making a livery. I started making them in Forza Horizon and was a bit disappointed you couldn’t carry decals or designs over like previous games, but hey ho I started again. This livery is one of my most recent, the BMW X5 M Police interceptor.
I like to replicate real world livery and take time to perfect my art. This one was only using 70 Layers and took me a few hours to create.
My best achievement was the South Wales Police badge on Horizon which took hours and contained around 120 layers itself.

This is not my first attempt at making a livery. I started making them in Forza Horizon and was a bit disappointed you couldn’t carry decals or designs over like previous games, but I started again. This livery is one of my most recent, the Ford Focus ST Police car.
I like to replicate real world livery and take time to perfect my art. This one was only using 67 Layers and took me a few hours to create.
My best achievement was a Layer Group, the South Wales Police badge on Horizon which took hours and contained around 120 layers itself.

This is my biggest and most complicated livery I have ever made in a Forza game. I’ve been working on this for about 2 weeks. it also has the green chrome as the base color, just like the real car.

Livery Holman-Moody Racing
The Holman-Moody GT40 placed 3rd overall in a 1,2,3 Ford victory at LeMans. Powered by a 427 Ford racing motor (this engine was later removed and placed in Holman-Moody’s 1968 Mustang fielded at Lemans in 1968.

Livery: Roger Penske Racing/Sunoco
Based on the 1968 Camaro drievn by Mark Donohue for Penske racing. Donohue drove this car to a Trans Am championship victory in 1969. In 1970 Donohue switched to a AMC Javelin.
