Recently, Forza Motorsport has been offering some Formula Drift-related rewards in its challenge hub, such as cars and driver outfits. I decided to look for information and talk to other players who are also blind and play using accessibility features. Some players reported that they are also having difficulty claiming these rewards. It might be a good idea to provide alternative ways to obtain these prizes, similar to some challenges that offer multiple ways to redeem them. This could be helpful until Formula Drift receives better accessibility improvements.
• For example:
• Regarding trajectory: An ascending tone to indicate that the player is following the ideal line.
• Angle: Feedback based on the balance between the correct angle and an exaggerated one, with differentiated tones.
• Solution: Create a feature where Formula Drift tracks can be represented through controller vibrations, helping players understand curves and ideal trajectories.
• How to Implement: Incorporate haptic feedback that intensifies vibrations in areas where drifting is essential and decreases them in transition zones.
Additionally, it would be highly beneficial to allow the driving assist to be activated in Formula Drift, as suggested by other members of the community, particularly for the blind community. Currently, most driving assists are disabled in this mode, which can make it less accessible.
I apologize in advance for the mistaken post that may have seemed like clickbait.
I’m new to the community and still learning how to use the forum tools.
That’s why I’m addressing this in my response and suggesting ideas for some features. Thank you!
